Character of the professionalisation of NGOs and its impact.
Dvořáková, Lenka ; Frič, Pavol (advisor) ; Háva, Petr (referee)
The theme of this thesis is the professionalization of NGOs, which can be defined as the transformation to a formal organization with professional management. The process of professionalization consist in job creations and/or the professional management. Jobs can be filled by professionals with volunteer experience or by professionals without volunteer experience. If NGO employs professionals with volunteer experience, the character of personnel professionalization is organic, otherwise is inorganic. The main objective of this thesis is to determine the difference in process, level and consequences of organic and inorganic professionalization of nonprofit organizations. The presumption is that the organic professionalization implies less negative impact on the nonprofit organization than inorganic professionalization. In the theoretical part terms like nonprofit sector, NGOs and professionalization are defined and the theoretical background related to the character of personnel professionalization is presented there. In the empirical part - based on the methodology - is the relationship between the character of personnel professionalization and the process, level and consequences of professionalization in two researched NGOs examined.
Study of the function of the hybrid proline-rich protein family
Dvořáková, Lenka ; Fischer, Lukáš (advisor) ; Vágner, Martin (referee) ; Havel, Ladislav (referee)
Lenka Dvořáková SUI'^,ÍARYoF TřE PH.D. TFDSIS 4. CONCLUSIONS Ancestral HyPRP evolved probably from a lipid transfer protein (LTP) relative that had acquired a sequence encoding a long proline-rich N-terminal domain. The origin of HyPRPs may be one of the evolutionary innovationsof seedplants. Specific sequence is not probably important for formation of the functional 8 CM domain of HyPRPs with exception of eight conserved cysteine residues.which stabilize the tertiary structureof the domain. HyPRPs with long proline-rich N-terminal domains are relatively well-conserved and probably evolutionary more original. Proteins with aýpical N-terminal domains (very short. glycine-rich) evolved apparently relatively recently and independentlyin differentplant speciespossibly by means of shortening, loss or re€uTangements of the ancestral longer proline-rich domains. Glycine-rich domains could originate from proline-rich ones by way of inversion in the coding sequence. This mechanismcould have greatimpact in evolution of cell wall proteins in general, becausethey are often rich eitherin prolineor glycine. N-terminal domains of angiosperm C-type HyPRPs remained relatively well conserved (long and hydrophobic), while the rest of angiosperm HyPRPs has been undergoing rapid and continuous diversification. However, in the...
Genetic causes of medullary thyroid carcinoma and Hirschsprung's disease
Václavíková, Eliška ; Bendlová, Běla (advisor) ; Dvořáková, Lenka (referee) ; Stárka, Luboslav (referee)
Genetic causes of medullary thyroid carcinoma and Hirschsprung's disease Abstract Medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) and Hirschsprung's disease (HSCR) are classified as simple neurocristopathies, i.e. diseases linked to neural crest-derived cells. MTC is derived from parafollicular cells of the thyroid and HSCR is characterized by absence of enteric ganglia in the gastrointestinal tract. The RET proto-oncogene is only expressed in neural crest-derived cells, including parafollicular cells and enteric neurons. The RET encodes a transmembrane tyrosinekinase receptor that plays an important role during proliferation, differentiation and cell survival, and activates many signaling pathways. If the strictly regulated activation fails, e.g. due to mutations in the specific gene locations, the RET becomes a highly effective oncogene. Activating germline mutations in the RET proto- oncogene lead to hereditary forms of MTC, whereas sporadic forms of MTC are caused by somatic mutations in the tumor tissue. On the contrary, inactivating mutations induce migration failure of ganglion cell precursors during the development of enteric nervous system and result in the development of HSCR. In rare cases, the coexistence of both diseases is caused by mutations with a dual gain-of-function and loss-of-function character....

ANOTATION The bachelor's thesis deals about the quality of life and the degree of psychosocialogic pillar by the soldiers AČR in the outward mission in Afghanistan. It points to the importance of psychologic setout before the departure to the mission, also that the attendence of army psychologists in missions is uncoverable. I'm trying to explain their actions which are connected with this hard life situation for all soldiers who participate there. The accent makes quantitative prospective checking by force of questionary ŽSO/01/11. Pursuant to it I asked to the degree of psychosocialogic pillar and the quality of soldiers who act in the afghanistan outward mission. The points of interest were regular soldiers, the members of 71. mechanized battalion Hranice, who were added at the function of protection commpany 6. PRT mission ISAF.
The Pedagogical Potential of the School Club at the Dobřichovice Elementary School
Dvořáková, Lenka ; Pařízek, Michal (advisor) ; Kaplánek, Michal (referee)
Bachelor's thesis refers the issue of leisure time for pupils of first - degree primary school in a school club. The aim of work is to focus on an annual plan of the "School Club" at Primary School in Dobřichovice, for pupils of grade 4 and 5.This place represents a temporary safe place. Pupils should learn how to manage their leisure time in the afternoon before going to the second level of school. The work is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with theoretical starting points of time from the point of view of philosophy, as well as the concept of leisure time in the life of pupils of younger school age. It deals with the interest activities and stated educational objectives in the leisure time of pupils. The practical part of the work contains a summary of the various activities of the annual plan and other activities in the school club. The annexes contain both the annual plan as well as the individual projects and activities divided into individual monthly units. Keywords School club, Annual plan, leisure education, relaxation, safe place.
Heat shock proteins - their role in diagnosis and prognosis of pregnancy-related complications
Dvořáková, Lenka ; Hromadníková, Ilona (advisor) ; Holáň, Vladimír (referee) ; Lipoldová, Marie (referee)
Heat shock proteins provide a universal stress response to cells, for example, exposed to high temperature, heavy metals, extreme pH, infection, inflammation, oxygen radicals, or in case of lack of nutrients and oxygen. We assumed that stress conditions associated with pregnancy-related complications will result in a change in gene expression profile of heat shock proteins we selected for the study. Heat shock protein mRNA levels (Hsp27, Hsp60, Hsp70, Hsp90α and HspBP1) were tested in placental tissue, whole peripheral venous blood and maternal plasma in women with the following pregnancy-related complications - preeclampsia (PE), fetal growth restriction (FGR), gestational hypertension (GH), spontaneous preterm birth (PTB), preterm premature rupture of membranes (PPROM) and normal pregnancies. We also investigated whether the severity of the disease had any impact on hsp gene expression in particular biological samples. In placental tissue, overexpression of Hsp27, Hsp90α and HspBP1 was found in patients with mild preeclampsia (that does not require immediate termination of pregnancy if properly treated), and in women with late onset of preeclampsia with clinical manifestation after 34th week of gestation. Concerning preterm birth, overexpression of Hsp27 and Hsp60 was observed in both groups (PTB...
