Transitivity in Japanese and Ainu langauge

(in English): The aim of the present thesis is to present a structured survey of transitivity manifestation and contrast it in Japanese and Ainu languages. The introduction of the thesis presents a basic typological classification of the two languages. The first part focuses on the theoretical background adopted, such as the basic approach to transitivity, the construction grammar, the markedness hypothesis or the Ikegami's typology of languages. The second part of the thesis provides a structured description of the manifestation of transitivity in the two languages, focusing on derivation and changes in valency. The final part of the thesis provides a contrastive synthesis with reference to the markedness hypothesis and Ikegami's typology of languages. Subjectivity, transitivity and agentivity in Japanese written discourse: a corpus analysis

The present diploma thesis examines the manifestation of transitivity in Japanese and English as an expression of subjectivity across registers. The aim of the thesis is to determine whether there is a difference in subjectivity, specifically transitivity and voice and its potential register-conditioned manifestation, in Japanese and English. The focus is also on whether the characteristics of the texts influence the degree of subjectivity in the same way in both languages. Subjectivity is viewed through the lens of cognitive linguistics, specifically Ikegami's DO-language and BECOME-language typology and objective and subjective construal in Langacker's Cognitive Grammar. Corpus analysis is employed to conduct a quantitative of corpus data and a qualitative analysis of selected texts from five different registers. First, we outline the theoretical framework for the present research - the notion of subjectivity according to Ikegami and Langacker in and alternative cross-linguistic views in Chapter 1, the approach to discourse and its linguistic variation in Chapter 2 and the understanding of transitivity and its manifestation in Japanese and English in Chapter 3. Analysis of insurance in trading and transport company

This thesis on a topic of "Analysis of insurance in trading and transport company" is about insurance products connected with cargo transport. The thesis analysis current insurance products, that a company should have, while in business. These products should secure the company in case of an unexpected insurance event and consists of several type sof insurance, such as liability motor insurance, car insurance, legal protection insurance and third-party insurance. The thesis main point is to show the importace of insurance in cargo transport and describes a komplex view to all the insurance avers that are suitable, useful, redquired and offered by insurance companies, for a company with such a nature of business.
Life insurance and its role in financing of housing

Paper treat especially of financing of housing and concentrate on possible access of achievement of this aim. It has three main and major parts. In the first part I devote to general characteristic of life insurance and hers types. I state the connection of life insurance with the mortgage. In the second and the most extensive part I deal with financing of housing and mainly with credit. Exhaustively I take apart realm of credits from building saving and mortgage loan. In the final analysis I deal with summary and display of importance of existence of life instance in connection with financing of housing.
