Sandia workshop: úloha z mechaniky konstrukcí
Chleboun, Jan
A frame with uncertain material data is considered. The Young modulus is represented through a random field whose characteristics are not known. The frame response to a given lood is to be assessed on the basis of a limited number of measurements of local and effective Young modulus values. The contribution presents an approach based on probability, fuzzy set, and the worst scenario tools.

K Sandia problému mechaniky konstrukcí
Chleboun, Jan
A structural mechanics problem with uncertain modulus of elasticity is considered. A displacement in a loaded frame is to be predicted on the basis of a limited number of measurements of the modulus. This contribution estimates the displacement under the assumption of uniformly distributed random variables related to the measured values.

Coupling the Worst Scenario Method with Fuzzy Input Data
Chleboun, Jan
Inputs entering a mathematical model are considered uncertain, i.e., they are not given in a crisp form but only within a set of admissible data. The solution to the model is evaluated through a functional (criterion) reflecting a particular feature of the solution, e.g., local temperature, velocity, stress. The higher value, the "worse" solution. The goal of the worst scenario method...
