The Picture Exchange Communication System and his application of child with autism spectrum disorder

The bachelor thesis with title "The Picture Exchange Communication System and his application of child with autism spectrum disorder", deals with problems in communication of the children with autism spectrum disorders. One of the goals of the thesis is to submit a comprehensive overview of the essential knowledge of autism, history of autism, typical triad of symptoms (characteristic features of children with autism), etiology, and dividing autism by the adaptability. Another goal is to introduce the reader with a detailed feature and the use of the Picture exchange communication system, since this system is an efficient method of alternative communication, which makes the world more understandable, and not only for children with autism spectrum disorders. The goal of the practical part of the bachelor thesis is to answer hypotheses, which is achieved through case study. It deals with life story and applications of communication therapy of autistic boy in real life. Part of this work is also supplemented by a public opinion survey, which analyse positions of other parents to the Picture exchange communication system.
Comparison of Personal Assistance and Home Day Care (Domiciliary Services) in the Care of the Elderly

The thesis deals with comparison of personal assistance and home day care (domiciliary services) in the care of the elderly people. Firstly is outlined the senior's status in the Czech Republic, the current opportunities in the field of social services in the care of seniors and considered the importance of personal assistance and home day care, changes in quality of life of seniors using these two types of terrain social services. Then is summarized the specific differences and joints elements of home day care and personal assistance from the theoretical and practical point of view. The second part is made by directed interviews with seniors. The main hypothesis was based on the presumption that seniors first began to use home day care and after that personal assistance. Second hypothesis supposes that most of the elderly people don't have sufficient financial incomes to cover expenses of applied social services. Evaluation of directed interviews partly confirmed defined hypothesis.
Problems of the syndrom CAN

The subject of my thesis is Problems of the syndrom CAN. This work is dividid into two parts - a theoretical and a practical one. In the theoretical part I want to focus on the definition of syndrom CAN, child and family, justice and risk groups. In the practical part I am going to concentrate on occurrence of children with a syndrom CAN in the Czech republic. I would like to contribute to get better information about the problem of syndrom CAN and I think my work could be helpful for it. I hope people will be more interested in the fate of our children.
