Holomek, Ondřej ; Končelík, Jakub (advisor) ; Cebe, Jan (referee)
Ministry of Enquiry represents a unique institution in the history of Czechoslovakia. During 1945-1953, it helped Communist Party of Czechoslovakia through its ideolocical activity in gaining political power. This work introduces very dynamic and interesting postwar era - a transition from one authoritarian to another, and the way communists effectively got key bodies and institutions under their control. Ministry of Enquiry is an evidence of a close connection between state and partial interest. Its main task was to gain control over public communication and to tailor this to the needs of the Communist Party. This piece of writing describes a connection between the most important contemporary mass-medium (broadcast) and state and partial bodies that influenced the broadcasting. Key body was the Ministry of Enquiry in this process. Yet before the political coup in February 1948, it managed to change the form of Czechoslovak Broadcast so much that the Broadcast supported Communist Party before, during and after the coup. In the following years, whole Czechoslovak society went under the control of Communist Party, which also influenced broadcasting even more. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Here also you can find explanation of news magazine of second generation and its specifics. It is apparent from the research that Týden was inspired rather by the structure form of foreign press than its content. This conclusion is confirmed by the example German magazine Focus.

The goal of this work is to describe (on the basis of archival sources, topical newspapers and magazines, legal enactments and interviews with personal observers) the emergence of the first private radio station in Eastern Bohemia in the beginning of nineties. This thesis explores the instruments of political propaganda four party dailies frequently used and how they described the political actions of political rivals. At the end of the thesis these four party-affiliated newspapers are compared mutually.
