Actual state of using the Cloud Computing services in Czech companies

Bachelor thesis describes a method of delivery of information technology as a service via the Internet. This model is currently called the Cloud Computing. It is a relatively new trend in the IT branch and people currently often talk about it. The goal is to find out how much it's currently occurring in Czech companies, to come on its causes and to predict future developments. The theoretical part is based on summarizing knowledge of cloud computing from the available literature. Describes the definition of Cloud Computingu, its historical development, through the present, to estimate the future prognosis. Also the thesis shows the possible types of cloud computing, its advantages and disadvantages. Finally, it mentions possible obstacles before implementing Cloud Computing services to company. The practical part describes used research method to achieve the objectives. It consists in the profit of a sufficient number of relevant information obtained by questionnaire survey. In the end is a summary of the information gained by analyzing and interpreting, which is the goal of this thesis.
Cloud computing: Overview of available solutions

The paper Works describes concept of cloud computing, his main characteristics. Cloud computing is new trend in IT. The company doesn't have your own servers and data centres, but everything is situated in cloud -- in set of pc and server. The owners of these are suppliers of these services. The aim of the thesis is defined Cloud Computing concepts and evaluate by criterion if cloud computing application can compete to classic application. Introduction of the Works describe the gist of cloud computing, the models of cloud and history. The main part of the Works is about the suppliers. The last chapter is dedicated to evaluation of applications of cloud computing by comparison with other application.
Comparison of cloud office suite for use in a university environment

Goal of this thesis is to define and describe the use of cloud computing and in particular its Software-as-a-Service in the university environment with educators and students. The work should present options for using this model, the benefits, opportunities, but also potential risks associated with it. The practical part is to provide specific and comprehensive use of SaaS in practice and comparison between products. In the introduction thesis would like to define the concept of Cloud Computing, its characteristics and models offered. In the main theoretical chapter thesis define the SaaS model and use his benefits on campus. The practical part is a comparison of specific products and specific solutions from Google, Apple, Microsoft and others. In the introduction to the practical part will describe the main functionality and use of these products. Next thesis will focus on individual functions and their comparison. Thesis would like to pick functions appropriate for the target group of teaching staff and for the target group of students. Next, thesis analyze the environment and the academic response to the aforementioned services. Finally, thesis evaluate the benefits of using these services on campus. The full conclusion is devoted to looking at the future use of services and their contribution not only to study.
Evaluation of cloud operating systems from the user’s perspective

The goal of this bachelor thesis is the evaluation of cloud operating systems from the user's perspective. The first part explains the basic terms (cloud computing, operating system and cloud operating system). Next part of the thesis contains selection of cloud operating systems for the evaluation and their description. The content of the third part is evaluation method and defining the evaluation criteria. In the last fourth part is the evaluation of the cloud operating systems.
Integration as a Service

This bachelor thesis deals with the integration of applications provided as a service (Software as a Service), with emphasis on the possibility of providing integration as a service (Integration as a Service). The paper explains the various concepts such as SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, Cloud Computing, as well as their subsequent use in a possible way of doing the integration itself. The final section presents one of representatives of the integration as a service - Boomi and its integration platform. Aim of this paper is to introduce possibilities for integration between SaaS applications as well as integration with traditional on-premise applications. The paper attempts to summarize and analyze the processes, opportunities, advantages, disadvantages and possible obstacles to such integration, while the purpose of this analysis is to clarify issues and to bring technical solutions and integration capabilities as a service.
Methodology for Web Applications Development

This work deals with methodologies of software development, particularly web applications. Its main objective is to propose a methodology that helps ensure quality web development and prevents a number of frequently recurring problems. The first chapter deals with characteristics of current state and defines the need for process and discipline, the need for team development and the importance of appropriate tools. The second chapter describes the specifics of the web development. It defines the quality criteria in relation to web applications, particularly the aspects of accessibility, usability and security are concerned. It deals with web frameworks and the benefits and risks arising from their usage. It also outlines requirements for the chosen methodology for web development and describes types of projects to be applied to the methodology. The third chapter analyzes the suitability of the selected life cycle models and methodologies in software development for web applications. The life cycle models consider a model of "program and repair", the waterfall model and incremental model. It also deals with the assumptions of agile methodologies and their level of satisfaction for web development. For the analysis is used the methodology evaluation system METES with which is examined Rational Unified Process, Open Unified Process, Extreme Programming, Scrum and Feature Driven Development. The fourth chapter deals with the characteristic of Open Unified Process methodology. It describes the principles, features and development process. The main chapter deals with the proposal of methodology for web development. As the basis is chosen Open Unified Process methodology, whose elements are supplemented and adapted for web development. As the elements of the methodology are elaborated principles, practices, roles, work products, tasks, delivery process, manuals and guidelines and tools. Each element is adapted to fit the specific needs of web applications. In order to achieve greater control over the quality of web applications there are also included detailed checklists as an integral part of products which are aimed at preventing the most frequently occurring errors and problems. The chapter concludes with an overview of tools that have been validated in web development.
Entrepreneurship Purpose and Realization within the Domain of Czech Internet

This diploma work deals with specific business concept and with possibilities of a company promotion on the Internet. The theoretical segment contains a survey of the Internet business models and a synopsis of current individual forms of promotion used on the Internet. There are described advantages and disadvantages of banner advertising, contextual advertising, email marketing, search engine marketing (SEM), social networks and affiliate marketing. The final part of theoretical section of the thesis is dedicated to the possibilities of propagation efficiency measurements. Practical part of the diploma work introduces author's own business concept and its business model. The description of specific methods of propagation realized in congruence with the noted business concept follows.
HTML 5 and CSS 3

HTML 5 and CSS 3 are basic languages, without which today exists in principle any web presentation. Currently, there are in development new versions of these languages, HTML 5 and CSS 3, which gradually begin to be implemented in new versions of most popular browsers. The objective of this thesis is to present an overview of new elements in these languages and the main differences unlike previous versions. Thesis also includes a practical demonstration, in which the new properties are presented. On this practical demonstration was also made the test of support of new elements in four different browsers and results of this test are also part of this thesis.
Analysis of web regarding off-page factors

The purpose of the thesis is to explain off-page optimization. In the introduction, the reader learns important terminology. Ways of improving off-page factors are divided into two main categories. Active linkbuilding, i.e. active acquisition of backlinks, and passive linkbuilding, when people link to the web themselves e.g. on the basis of good contents. The next part mentions a tool suitable for administration of SEO activities. The theoretical part is used in the subsequent web analysis, where off-page factors of the web are evaluated and their quality is compared with competitors. The final part of the thesis contains recommendations for a particular web regarding off-page factors. The reader who has read this thesis should be able to distinguish good off-page optimization and to understand how the web visit rates can be improved by means of backlinks.
Facebook API

Bachelor Thesis deals with Facebook Platform utilization in web application development. Thesis is devided into five chapters, three of them are theoretical and two are pracical. First chapter deals with web APIs in general view and provides information about the basic comunication methods. The second chapter focuses on Facebook architecture, specific Facebook APIs, FQL and the Facebook Platform. The third chapter introduces Facebook Developer tools, CakePHP framework and describes setting up a new Facebook application. In second part, the theoretical information is used in development of particular Facebook application based on CakePHP framework. The objectives of Bachelor Thesis are to provide information necessary for designing and building Facebook applications and to define a set of recommendations for development and running Facebook applications. The output of Bachelor thesis is a working Facebook application used to support music website hlasite.cz.
