Thám, Václav ; Čábelka, Miroslav (advisor) ; Brůha, Lukáš (referee)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to create a web map application in the locality of Nečtiny. Other sub- objectives are to analyze the creation of web map applications. Specifically, to analyze the commercial and non-commercial way of creating web map applications using Leaflet and ArcGIS Web AppBuilder. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts related to web cartography, WebGIS, as well as web map applications, map portals and concepts related to the topic. Furthermore, technological aspects of web maps, such as programming languages, are introduced. In the next chapter, tools for creating web map applications are introduced. Then the criteria that the application should meet are set out. In the practical part, an evaluation of the different paths for creating web map applications is then made based on the criteria. This is followed by the key part of this work, namely the design of the web map application and then its actual creation using both commercial and freely available software and tools. The output of the work are two applications for the locality of Nečtiny. One created using the Leaflet JavaScript library and the other using Esri technologies such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Web AppBuilder.
Extraction of shape indicators from 3D building models and their analysis
Kovačka, Vít ; Brůha, Lukáš (advisor) ; Šimbera, Jan (referee)
This diploma thesis examines the analytical use of 3D building models for the building classification, which is then used as an input to the disaggregation of the spatial data based on dasymetric mapping. Existing approaches and the theoretical basis of the work is described - approaches to the classification of buildings in context of a unique building or urban taxonomy of the city, as well as approaches to the disaggregation of spatial data. The classification method is implemented as open source in CPython and PostgreSQL for portability by all 3D models. Method works on the principle of machine learning using the random forest algorithm. The proposed method is applied to a 3D model of Prague, a simplified model reconstructed from building footprints and a raster of relative building heights, and to a 3D model of Poznań. The outputs, i.e. buildings classified according to their use, are subsequently used as inputs to the model for the disaggregation of population data. The gain of information from a 3D model of buildings in contrast to 2D data, the possibility of using only 3D data and the added value that 3D data provides for urban mapping are examined. Disaggregation is evaluated in terms of model performance, overall accuracy, and changes at the local level. The conclusion of the thesis is...
Design of a web map application for visualization and collection of spatial data
Thám, Václav ; Čábelka, Miroslav (advisor) ; Brůha, Lukáš (referee)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to create a web map application in the Nečtiny locality using GIS. Other sub-goals are to analyze the tools used to create web map applications for specific uses. Specifically, to analyze Leaflet, OpenLayers and ArcGIS Web AppBuilder technologies, and subsequently using one of the open and one of the commercial technologies to create a web map application. In the theoretical part, both basic terms related to cartography, web cartography, WebGIS, as well as web map applications, map portals and terms related to the topic are explained. Furthermore, the technological aspects of web maps are presented, such as programming languages, source code or client-server communication. In the next chapter, individual tools are presented, both GIS software and tools for creating web map applications. The criteria that the application should meet are then set. In the practical part, an evaluation of individual technologies for the creation of web map applications is then carried out based on the criteria. The following is the key part of this work, namely the design of a web map application and subsequently its creation itself using both commercial and freely available software and tools. The output of the work is therefore two applications for the Nečtiny locality. One created...

Analysis of satellite data applicability for rock glacier creep monitoring
Palúchová, Miroslava ; Brůha, Lukáš (advisor) ; Potůčková, Markéta (referee)
Analysis of satellite data applicability for rock glacier creep monitoring Abstract Rock glaciers are characteristic forms of periglacial high mountain environments. The creeping of active rock glaciers and changes in its velocity are important indicators of climate change. If unstable, rock glaciers can impose hazards to anthropogenic objects and/or populated areas. The presented thesis deals with the question of rock glacier creep monitoring with the use of satellite data. Two main methods for detecting and measuring the movement of landforms on optical and radar imagery are introduced. These methods are image matching and differential SAR interferometry. The goal of the thesis is to evaluate the applicability of the given methods for the research of the movement of rock glaciers. The thesis provides an overview of existing satellite data as well as an analysis of their suitability for research depending on rock glacier velocity. Keywords: remote sensing, movement monitoring, rock glaciers, image matching, DInSAR

Location accuracy improvement of watercourses based on airborne laser scanning data
Peterková, Tereza ; Brůha, Lukáš (advisor) ; Tippner, Aleš (referee)
The object of this thesis is to propose the method of location accuracy improvement and longitudinal profile of watercourses using the data of airborne laser scanning. In the thesis the watercourses are seen as valley lines where i tis possible to use the method of terrain brek-lines detection to determine their location. The proposed method processes DMR in the formo f filter point swarm and i tis based od the intersection of planes approximation the slopes adjoined to the watercourse. Primarily the thesis focuses on narrow watercourses in deeply placed valleys and the method is adapted to it. At the same time the proposed method successfully deals with the different accuracy of the primary estimation of the explored watercourse. The end of the work presents and evaluates the results of the used method and the obtained data of the Labe spring region in Krkonoše mountains.
