Employment influence of selected PedF UK students during their full-time university studies

The thesis deals with the issue of the impact of employment on the studies of full-time students at the Faculty of Education, Charles University. The theoretical part of the introduction describes the development of tertiary education and the field of pedagogical disciplines, the issues related to balancing study and work life, the reasons why not only full-time students opt for employment, and finally, how this affects their studies and related activities. The practical part of the thesis presents the results of a quantitative research study, which was conducted through an anonymous online questionnaire involving 160 respondents who met the given conditions (full-time study, 2nd or higher year at the Faculty of Education, Charles University). The main research objective was to determine the impact of employment intensity and compatibility on the studies of full-time university students at the Faculty of Education, Charles University. The results showed that 148 respondents were employed during their studies, of which 96 worked in a compatible job. These respondents who worked during their studies were not significantly affected by the intensity of their employment on the number of hours spent studying and self-studying, unlike respondents who had incompatible employment. Pedagogical support for children with underprivileged background

The thesis is focused on the support for socially disadvantaged children in the non-profit sector, namely on the tutoring program which is mediated by Czech non-governmental non-profit human rights organization People in Need. The work covers pedagogics of leisure, school preparation and social work. The aim of theoretical part is to give a description of non-profit sector and to define terms such as pedagogy of leisure, social disadvantage or tutoring. The empirical part is based on qualitative research. Using four case studies, it describes the operation of the tutoring program and tries to present its comprehensive picture. The case studies cover children who are tutored in the program and whose have underpriviledged backgrouds from various causes. The case studies were created from data collected in interviews with tutors and also based on findings from participant observation. The collected information also resulted in a practical output of the work, which are methodological cards for people who might want to join the program as volunteer teachers.

Well-thought-out cooperation between the teacher and the teacher's assistant not only leads to more efficient work, but is also very beneficial for students and the classroom climate. Already at the beginning of their cooperation, it is necessary to have clear nules, roles and competences set.. I focused my research on the cooperation of a teacher and a teacher's assistant, on the factors that influence the cooperation in everyday practice. The first part of the thesis contains a theoretical definition of this issue. It deals with the concepts of inclusion and inclusive education. It characterizes the position of a teacher and a teacher assistant within the teaching process and its legislative anchoring. The empirical part of the work is devoted to the research of mutual satisfaction of cooperation between respondents. A teacher and a teacher's assistant from a small school participate in the research, followed by teachersmand teaching assistans from several schools in the surrouding area.. The Bachelor thesis "Portfolio of Professional Development" is devoted to professional development in eight chapters. The work touches on the personality of the tutor, the activities of the school's retinue, the qualifications and competencies of the tutor, the workplace and the university studies. The next chapter contains a professional analysis of the tutor, the following, a case study of the school, written preparation for an hour and, at the end, a reflective reflection on her own studies, which helped the author to reflect on her own professional growth. One of the chapters is focused on the analysis of the book "School Discipline in Theory and Practice", which fit into the concept of the whole work. It is all backed up by specialist literature, which is recorded in the final pages of the bachelor's thesis. There are also her personal opinions and attitudes. Employment of people with disabilities in the Liberec region

The thesis is focused on employment of persons with disabilities in the Liberec region. The current situation of the main issue is theoretically described in the introduction of the thesis. In this section the terms disability and a person with disability are defined. A section of the thesis is also focused on the job market and the position of persons with disabilities on the said market. The conclusion of the theoretical part of the thesis introduces supporting tools of integration of persons with disabilities to the job market and the present subjects. The practical part of the thesis includes results of a quantitative design research, which was realized through a questionnaire of persons with disabilities and of employers in the Liberec region. The main objective of the thesis is mapping of employment of persons with disabilities in the Liberec region. The results showed that employers consider the three most major factors affecting the employment of persons with disabilities in the open labor market to be low or almost no education of persons with disabilities (66 respondents - employers, i.e. 66 %), the lack of vacancies (77 employers, i.e. 77 %) and superstitions, myths and prejudices about persons with disabilities. Free time activities of elderly in the Liberec region

The thesis is focused on leisure activities of seniors in the Liberec region. The current situation of the main issue is theoretically described in the introduction of the thesis. Definitions of the concepts of a senior, aging and old age, leisure and leisure activities of seniors, and the needs of seniors are provided. At the end of the theoretical part, prejudices and stereotypes about old age presented. The practical part of the thesis contains the results of quantitative design research, which was carried out both in the form of a questionnaire of 300 seniors in the Liberec region, and by analyzing data - websites, the output of which is a database of publicly accessible leisure activities for seniors in district cities of the Liberec region. The main purpose of the thesis is mapping the situation in the area of publicly accessible leisure activities for seniors in the Liberec region. The results showed that there is no clear and comprehensive offer of publicly accessible leisure activities for seniors in the Liberec region. Health Education Teaching Means for Two-Year Practical Schools

The diploma thesis focuses on health education teaching materials used in two-year practical schools. The aim of the work was to design worksheets in three levels of difficulty that could be used in teaching. Qualitative research was used in the work. The presentation and worksheets were designed after analyzing the Framework Educational Program of two-year practical schools. The partial aim of the work was to use interviews with teachers to map the health education teaching materials they use for their teaching, and to find out how they evaluate the presented worksheets and whether they are useful for them in pedagogical practice. The result of the work is a proposal for five lessons on the topic of Healthy lifestyle with a presentation and worksheets in three levels of difficulty. The worksheets are modified according to the evaluation of the teachers to whom the worksheets were submitted. Both the worksheets and the presentations were evaluated positively, but they still needed to be partially modified to meet the teachers' expectations. In the appendix, modified worksheets are presented, which can be used in the practice of practical two-year schools.
