Ski training courses in primary and secondary school in the Czech republic

Title: Ski training courses in primary and secondary schools in the Czech Republic Objective To assess the current status of ski training courses in primary and secondary schools in the Czech Republic Purpose of the study The design for the study of this subject originated from results of previous research carried out since1990. This research indicated that since 1990, interest in ski training courses, as demonstrated by school pupils, administrators and teachers, has declined. The purpose of the work is to appraise whether this trend continues, to assess the underlying cause and to help reverse this unfavourable trend. Method Research methods will include inquiry in the form of questionnaires and interviews. The questionnaires will be supplemented with a brief explanation of the objectives and tasks. The questionnaires will be sent to physical education teachers in approximately 100 primary and 100 secondary schools. The results will be analysed using Microsoft ACCESS and Microsoft EXCEL.
