Children's understanding of social mobility at primary and secondary school

The present thesis deals with primary and secondary school pupilsʾunderstanding of vertical social mobility. The aim of the thesis is to analyze and compare how pupils understand the individual social factors introduced in the theoretical part oft he thesis. The first part ofthe thesis defines the theoretical concepts underlying vertical social mobility and related areas, constructivism and childrenʾs interpretations of the world. It also presents an overview of current research. The practical part consists in a qualitative analysis. The data forthe analysis are collected through individual in-depth interview with primary and secondary school pupils. The results of the analysis are then compared with previous studies, and linked to the curriculum for civic education and social sciences. Influence of Ferdinand de Saussure on French structuralism

The influence of Ferdinand de Saussure on French structuralism Ferdinand de Saussure is considered the founder of structural linguistics. His ideas went far beyond the bounds of linguistics, and he thus became a significant representative of structuralism, a school of thought that developed from his work. The present thesis will be concerned with Saussure's ideas, the basic terms that he established, and, above all, his impact on Claude Lévi-Strauss who employed Saussure's method in cultural anthropology, and applied it to totemism, blood relations or mythology. He laid the foundation for a diversified theoretical paradigm known as French structuralism.
Possibilities of Realization of Educational Activities for Adult Visitors of Museums

This diploma thesis deals with the educational activities of museums for adult visitors. The main aim of this thesis is to analyze the realization of educational activities in museums with respect to the specifics of adults as a target group. The intention is to examine the implementation of adult education programs, their preparation, structure and development as educational institutions. Furthermore, the work focuses on the target group of adult visitors. Part of the diploma thesis is research, which carried out through qualitative semi-structured interviews with selected staff and lecturers who provide education in museums. It will be carried out in museums in the Central Bohemian Region, which will be selected because of their location. The purpose of the research is to map out the implementation of adult education in the museum from the point of view of museum workers. The intention is to find out whether museums reflect the content of the adult learner's content and realization of educational programs, what forms of education and learning they use and what barriers and possibilities they find in this context.

Characteristic educational style at contemporary Czech families

This Diploma Thesis deals with the style of education in contemporary Czech family. The aims of this thesis are to ascertain how educational style diverge in generations, which stimuli affect it and determine the changes in relationship between parent and child. In the theoretical part of the paper the terms family, generation and educational style are defined. The practical part reveals the fact that education style of contemporary parents is more liberal than the one of previous generation. Thus, the shift from parent-child to partner relationship can be observed. This relationship supports the parent's positive attitude towards their child and frankness in mutual discussions. A result of previous statement is also the change of teacher-pupil realtionship where the similar stimuli can be observed. The conclusion passage confirms the veracity of aim of this thesis and hypotheses from the practical parts. KEYWORDS: family, education, intergenerational change, educational style
Demografický vývoj regionu Provence v jižní Francii

The thesis deals with the demographic development in the southeast region of France called Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. The demographic development is focusing on the period from 2004 to 2014. The thesis deals with demographic structure of the region, demographic processes such as death rate, birth rate, nuptality and divorce rate. The theoretical part describes demography as a science, explains demographical sources and more characterised demographical processes. The practical part analyzes demographic events and compares them with metropolitan France. Finally it predicts indicators till 2016 using method of equalization of time series and the trend line.
Quality of life for children at primary school in Zliv.

In this diploma thesis deals with the issue of quality of life for children in primary school Zliv. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part focuses on characterizing the quality of life, a period of pubescence and the basic needs of children. In the practical part deals with research using questionnaires, which determines the value orientation and other areas of life-style, health and happiness. In the final stage, I present the results obtained, which are evaluated and graphically presented.
