Methods of Accurate Measurement of Low Impedances
Mašláň, Stanislav ; Sedláček,, Radek (referee) ; Bilík, Petr (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
Overall topic of presented thesis is development of methods of measurement of low impedances below 10 Ohm in a frequency range up to 1 MHz. The thesis comprises of three main parts. First part of thesis describes design of unique and simple calculable standards of resistance that are used for calibration of the bridge and as the reference standards for the calibrations. Next part of theses is focused on design of digital sampling bridge in various topologies suitable for measurement of various types of impedance standards up to frequency of 1 MHz. The thesis describes the HW components, data processing and corrections scheme allowing the designed bridge to reach expanded uncertainties (k=2) below 0.005% and 250 µrad at 1 MHz. One of the key points of the proposed corrections scheme is unique automatic linearity calibration method requiring minimal operator's effort. The theses also describes integration of Spice model of the bridge the bridge SW that allowed validation of functionality of the bridge and also analysis of uncertainty contributions related to interferences between the bridge components. The last part of the thesis shows selection of measurements of known impedances and international comparisons that proofs performance of the bridge.
The block of flats
Prchalová, Nicol ; Sedlák, Radek (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor's thesis is to proces a design documentation for construction of apartment building that is situated in city part Brno-Chrlice in Břestislavova street on the plot number 505/3. Apartment building is non-basement and contains 11 hoising unit. Wall construction system is built from clay block Porotherm. Ceilings are represented by cast-in-place reinforced floor slab. The buildig is covered by hipped roof. There are 10 outdoor parking spaces near the building.
The block of flats
Müller, Otto ; Sedlák, Radek (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
ABSTRACT The subject of the Bachelor´s thesis is processing of project documentation for implementation of a new apartment building in Ostrava, which is set in the locality of housing estate built in the previous regime. The apartment building has four floors, basement and longitudinal support system. Object is placed perpendicular to the slope. In the apartment house are eight flats, on already mentioned for floors and in the basement are technical rooms and cellars for every flat. Shape and appearance of object are solved in a simple way to fit into locality of apartment buildings. Construction will be implemented from sharped brick blocks in combination with ceramic-concrete ceilings on concrete foundations. The new building will be insulated by thermal insulation system ETICS from mineral wool. Facade color will be in shades of grey. Roof will be flat and single skin.
Fiber-optic liquid level sensor
Ondra, Dominik ; Beneš, Petr (referee) ; Skalský, Michal (advisor)
This text summarizes scientific principles that are used in fiber optics field, and could be used to design liquid level sensor. Different types of optic fibers and advanced optic structures are analyzed for liquid level sensor usage. Mechanisms of already existing types of optic fiber liquid level sensors and other mechanism liquid level sensors are characterized. Three sensor designs are proposed. One working with different levels of auttenaution when bending the fiber. The other meassuring different refraction indexs of the environment and the last one based on phase delay of light. Viabillity of these principle has been tested. Text also describes optic fiber splicer Fujikura FSM 100P+ and optic fiber sturctures that it is able to produce. Sensor based on refraction index of environment has been calibrated.
pH measurement
Žatečka, František ; Klusáček, Stanislav (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with principles of pH measurement with focus on measurements in concrete. The very beginning of the work describes basic principles of measurement. On those, basis a research of methods for measurements in concrete was done with priority on non-destructive methods. According to the theory a survey of Czech market was conducted. The last part of the work is description of experiments that are based on theory.
Measurement of ultrasonic beam parameters
Hlavatý, Radek ; Fialka, Jiří (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
The work deals with methods of measuring the parameters of the ultrasonic beam generated by piezoelectric sensors. The theoretical part contains a literature search of methods for the analysis of the ultrasonic beam generated by piezoelectric transducers with dimensions of units of millimeters. The problematics of measurement using piezoelectric or optical fiber hydrophones is investigated in more detail. The scope of the practical part of the work is the design and implementation of measuring equipment that allows spatial analysis of the beam during propagation by a complicated signal path, for automotive level and concentration sensors of the company Vitesco Technologies s.r.o. The system uses a hydrophone method to measure the ultrasonic beam. Due to test measurements, the repeatability of the measured results is confirmed, the results are discussed in the end.
Mixed-use building
Franc, Filip ; Sedlák, Radek (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to design new mixed-used building in Drásov. This building is situated on the outskirts of the town. The mixed-used building is design as detached building with four-storey and with partial basement. In the basement there are technical utilities, small storages and meeting room. On the firt floor there are commercial space as shoe store, sports equipment, household goods and hourer´s shop. On the second floor there are two separeted office premises. On the third and four floor there are eight flats. On the each foor there are four flats type 3+kk. Structural system of the building is design from ceramic masonry type Therm and from permanent formwork. There are ceilings from prestressed concerete floor slabs. The roof of the building is design as single-layer flat roof.
Analysis, Implementation and Utilization of the Vold-Kalman Filter for Non-Stationary Signals
Čala, Martin ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Žiaran,, Stanislav (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
The doctoral thesis focuses on a Vold-Kalman filter (VKF). Theoretical part describes properties of VKF and other order tracking methods, namely computed order tracking (COT) and Gabor order tracking (GOT). It also characterizes requirements for rotational speed measurements as one of the key elements for correct functionality of VKF. Practical part depicts own filter implementation and its properties. Main stress is put on computational efficiency, that is in result better than in available codes. Thesis also points out possible issues with numerical instabilities within calculation caused by limited dynamic range of double data type. This is solved by restricting the inputs to prevent the instabilities. Restriction is applied also to cases where the result is numerically correct but unusable. Following part extends the comparison with methods STFT, COT and GOT, where benefits of VKF for nonstationary conditions are shown. The last section shows given information used on simulated signals. This is then applied to show mentioned techniques on experimental data, for instance from turbo engine or electric motor, where the ability of VKF in checking the accordance between speed profile and vibration data is illustrated.
Simulator of typical rotational machinery components faults
Vaľko, Matej ; Beneš, Petr (referee) ; Čala, Martin (advisor)
The objective of this thesis is to create a library in programming environment LabVIEW by company National Instruments, which objective is to simulate vibrations of different mechanical components, such as shaft, rolling element bearings, plain gearing and planetary gearbox in different circumstances and failures. The theoretical part contains information about typical failures of this mechanical components and their typical failure frequencies obtained from literature. In the description of theoretical part is inscripted simulator with user interface in already mentioned programming environment LabVIEW. Result of this thesis is library, which images time course of vibrations and spectral analysis for diffrent components with their respective failures.
Measurement and product inspection using 3D manipulator
Klimeš, Petr ; Čala, Martin (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
In thesis there is research of 3D scanning methods in order to create method for contact and non-contact scanning of windsurfing boards. There is also research of measuring accuracy and repeatability of 3D manipulators. Repeatability is then measured for given manipulator and contact and non-contact sensors are tested for scanning windsurfing boards. Measured data is processed and compared to original reference data.
