Interaction of pesticides - 1-naphthylacetic acid and 1-naphthylacetamide - with cucurbit[7]uril and selected cyclodextrins

This work evaluates and compares interaction of 1-naphthylacetic acid and 1-naphthylacetamide with selected complexing agents. 1-naphthylacetic acid and 1-naphthylacetamide are used as pesticides. From the viewpoint of ecology, the possibility of regulation of the photodecomposition of these pesticides is interesting. Such regulation could be for example arranged by complexation. Cyclodextrins, known for its good capability of interaction with wide spectrum of substances, were chosen as the complexing agents. Next chosen complexing agent was cucurbit[7]uril that, according to literature, could be capable of even stronger interaction than cyclodextrins. Interactions were studied by methods of affinity capillary zone electrophoresis. The strenght of single interactions was compared and if it was possible, the stability constant of the complex was determined.

The purpose of this thesis is the creation of a virtual computer laboratory, where it will be possible to simulate and analyze the behavior on the biological cell membrane. The membrane and its surroundings are described as a hex-net with other chemicals and components that interact with each other. Depending on this distribution, it is possible to observe well-known membrane phenomena such as the amplification of the action potential. The bachelor’s thesis deals with appropriate choice of financing business activities. In my work, I focusing on financing a car in the company and I have different options of financing. The first part concentrates on theoretical division and description of individual possibilities of financing. The second part analyze the best of the chosen possibilities of financing.
Determination of dissociation constants and limiting mobilities of some ampholytes

Capillary zone electrophoresis is a simple and automated method which enables simultaneous determination of the dissociation constants and limiting ionic mobilities of the analyte from one series of experiments. The small consumption of the sample is main advantage of this method. The dependence of the effective mobilities of 7 selected ampholytes on pH in the range of 1.6 to 6.8 was measured. A set of simple buffers with constant ionic strength and satisfactory buffering capacity was designed using computer program PeakMaster. The ampholytes were detected by contactless conductivity detector. Dynamic capillary coating was used to minimize interactions of analytes with silanol groups on the inner wall of the capillary. Experimentally obtained effective mobilities were fitted with the suitable function. Actual mobilities and the mixed dissociation constants corresponding to the actual ionic strength were parameters of the regression function. Thermodynamic dissociation constants and limiting ionic mobility of ampholytes were calculated using the extended Debye-Hückel law with the linear member and the Onsager law. Signal transduction in olfactory sensory neurons of vertebrates and tools for the computer simulation

The purpose of this thesis is summing up the information about olfactory transduction of vertebrates. This review is divided into four parts, each part focuses on a different aspect of olfactory transduction. First there is an overview of basic electrophysiological methods used for transduction research, followed by a description of a complete transduction on a molecular level. Next is a summary of model types and their use in olfactory transduction simulation, including a detailed description of two models: One of them describes the beginning of olfactory transduction, from the odorant binding on the receptor to the cAMP production, the other deals with the negative feedback of Ca2+. Finally there is an overview of software products designed to create and analyze the models from the preceding section.
Personality and work of Karel Richter,author of the non-fiction literature in the medial and socio-political metamorphoses of time

The Thesis entitled "The Personality and Work of the Author of the Non fiction literature in the Media and the Socio-Political Metamorphoses of the Time" describes the influence of the various aspects of the communication process and its development (changes of the socio-political situation and the non fiction literature itself) in relation to the publicist, writer, historian and translator Karel Richter. He lived through the 1960s, the period of "normalisation" and the 1990s, when the market economy witnessed a rapid development - including the publishing sector. The work describes the metamorphosis of the communication process in retrieving information, the pursuit of political communication in relation to the non fiction literature and other aspects of this genre of the author's works. It focuses on the political and economic influences, which affected Richter's work, and the influence of his work in the media back on him. The Thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part sums up scientific works written about the non fiction literature genre. In his own analyses Richter, too, tries to characterize the genre and its basic problem, which rests in non-established and diverse definitions often contradicting each other.
