1 Abstract The Story of Josef Toufar:Possibilities of its Use for Attitude Formation of High School Youth This bachelor thesis focuses on the topic of a catholic secondary school education programme for social and moral attitudes, based on the life story of Father Josef Toufar. Theoretical part of the thesis accentuates between the approach of the church documents to the education of the young generation and between the requirements and possibilities of the frame educational program for secondary schools and the school educational programme of the selected ecclesiastical schools in Prague. I also focus on the characteristic features of contemporary culture and its influence on the young generation. In the next part, I describe the attitudes and the didactic possibilities of presenting the story of Father Toufar to the students. The practical part of the thesis discusses the preparation, presentation and evaluation of the education programme for adolescents concerning the life story of Josef Toufar. The programme was based on a profound study of documentary, literary and film sources. The target group of the programme are students of The Ecclesiastical High School where I worked as a teacher. Sickness and sick people in the messages of saint John Paul II. for the Worlds days of the Sick

We will focus on the concept of suffering in the theology of John Paul II., especially his messages during the Days of the sick in this dissertation "Sickness and sick people in the messages of saint John Paul II. for the Worlds days of the Sick". Firstly we have to describe sickness in catholic theology to understand this topic better. We will continue further with the analysis of messages during the Days of the Sick under the pontificate of saint John Paul II. This in consideration of his other texts (especially the apostolic letter Salvifici doloris), John Paul's attitude towards the way sickness and the sick are viewed in different cultures, as well as his position on various kinds of suffering, will be streamlined and characterized in this work. We will also allow for the sickness in the life on John's Paul II. which particularly influenced his main view on sick people and we will also take into account his other writings.
Disease from a perspective of selected world religions

This thesis "Disease from the perspective of selected world religions" first defines related terms, such as health, illness and religion, and then presents the problem of disease in the Buddhist, Judaic, Christian and Islamic concepts. Information is obtained from the basic religious texts and then from considerations of experts who dealt with the issue. The main objective of this thesis is to show how the religion looks at the causes of disease and how these causes have been associated with human sin. There are also reflected differences that result from the historical development and the different currents of thought within each religion. The study also examined the impact that a religious basis for the practical life of the faithful in the medical and social. In conclusion, the positions of the various religions are compared.

The Role of Spirituality in the Process of Grief and Bereavement from the Perspective of Bereavement Counsellors Abstract The objective of this study is to determine the role of spirituality in the process of grief and bereavement from the perspective of bereavement counsellors. The text is divided into three parts: theoretical, methodological and analytical. The theoretical part conceptualizes basic terminology of the main issue and gives the context. The methodological part describes the methods used in the research, which was conducted through qualitative research strategy using semi-structured interviews. In the analytical part I compare the results of the research with the theoretical roots. The participants of the research believe that spirituality to be a factor which positively influences the lives of the bereaved and makes their grief and mourning easier to bear. However, they also see that spirituality can make the life situation more complicated or affect their lives ambiguously. Psychological and spiritual aspects of ageing crisis. This Bachelor's thesis focuses on the psychological and spiritual aspects of ageing crisis. The aim of this thesis is to identify ageing crisis difficulties and what potential does the ageing have in terms of personal growth. In the first part research by compilation method is presented. The attention is focused on the psychological aspects, including an acceptance of the physical and psychological changes, new family relations and career changes. The spiritual aspects of ageing crisis involves a path of spiritual growth, looking for the meaning of life, crisis of faith, conversion to faith and hope. In the second part, the thesis analyses the results of questionnaire survey among the people of faith for ages between forty to sixty-four. The respondents had been given a chance to express their opinion via free text to questions regarding ageing, meaning of life and the role of Church Community in helping the ageing people. The important outcome of this survey could provide valuable incentives for parish pastoral care. Madelaine Delbrêl - inspiration for lay spirituality Abstract Madeleine Delbrêl is one of significant personalities in the Catholic Church in the twentieth century. Her way of life and her thoughts, in particular those regarding universal vocation to sainthood and mission influenced the Second Vatican Council. Her prophetic inspiration about lay dignity based on baptism was after thirty years expressed in many council documents and so contributed to a change of lay status in the Church.
