Influnce of VO2 max on recovery during sport climbing
Kučerová, Adéla ; Bunc, Václav (referee) ; Baláš, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of the study was to assess the influence of aerobic fitness on the recovery speed during climbing. Methods: Fourteen climbers took part in the study. Maximal VO2 test was performed on a treadmill. Two climbing tests (with/without revovery during climbing) were performed on a climbing wall to analyze the speed of recovery. The climbers were divided in three groups according their climbing ability. The decrease of heart rate and the differences in climbing performance with/without recovery were evaluated by Pearson correlation coefficient and analysis of variance. Results The actual level of climbing performance had significant effect on the recovery speed. The aerobic fitness did not have any effet.
Utilization of climbing walls on Basic and Secondary schools
Žampová, Zdeňka ; Vomáčko, Ladislav (advisor) ; Baláš, Jiří (referee)
Theme: Utilization of climbing walls on Basic and Secondery schools. Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to determine how many elementary and secondary schools in Prague own climbing wall and how much of these walls of this number are used in physical education lessons. Furthermore, we were wondering, how many schools attend the climbing walls in physical education lessons. Method: The thesis is made up as a field survey with questionare. There were prepared two non- standardized questionares with closed questions. First questionare was made up for schools which own climbing wall and second was made up for schools which attend the climbing wall. First questionare is divided into three sections (general information, technical specifications, education on the wall) and contains 20 questions. Second questionare has only one section, containing 6 questions aimed for the artificial climbing wall, which they attend. Data were processed by the procesor Excel. Results: The thesis gives a comprehensive overview of all elementary and secondary schools in Prague, which own an artificial climbing wall and use it in physical education lessons. The results point out why is climbing included in school curricula. Key words: artificial climbing wall, psychical load, motivation, experience, flow, education
Energy expenditure during skimountaineering
Jindra, Matouš ; Vomáčko, Ladislav (advisor) ; Baláš, Jiří (referee)
Title: Energy performance ski mountaineering Aim: The aim of the thesis is to measure energy expenditure, depending on the slope and constant speed. method: Empirical Research Association for 9 skialpinist mid- level performance. Calculation of the working metabolic or heart rate. VO2. results: The research results confirm the scientific issue, check with magnifying angle of slope at a constant speed and increasing energy expenditure. The second part of the scientific questions confirms multiple increase energy expenditure when compared to the output slope rovinatému terrain. Keywords: Alpinism, energy expenditure, calculation of work metabolism, heart rate
Strength and body composition of sport climbers
Michálková, Jana ; Strejcová, Barbora (referee) ; Baláš, Jiří (advisor)
Title of master thesis Muscular strength and body composition in sport climbers Work objectives The main objective of this study is to compare the muscular strength and body composition in recreational and elite climbers. Methods Testing of 77 climbers who were devided into 3 groups was carried out on the climbing wall. There was rated muscular strenght by the motor tests and body composition by the bioimpedance. And their relation to the climbers performance. Results were evaluated by multivarite analysis of variance (MANOVA) Results Results of our diploma study demonstrated that climbers with higher of RP (8 and more UIAA) have lower weight (men 69,5±9,8 kg and women 57,7±4,0 kg) and body fat (men 10,2±2,3 % a women 17,4±0,8 %), higher static muscular strenght of the forearm and muscular endurance of upper limbs. The best results were reached at the tests with the bent arm hang (men climbers 68,1±22,6 s and women climbers 58,9±3,3 s) and hang on plinth (men climbers 61,7±19,2 s and women climbers 45,6±12,5 s). Climbers with climbing efficient 6-7 UIAA weighted averagely men 70,72±8,24 kg and women 64,77±5,02 kg. Percentage of body fat was 10,22±2,6 % for men and 21,13±3,1% for women. In the tests of bent arm hang and hang on plinth men hold for 48,44±12,4 s, 37,45±14,1 s and women hold for...
Application of Climbing Activities in Physical Education at Primary Schools
Burešová, Jana ; Baláš, Jiří (advisor) ; Šeflová, Iva (referee)
Název práce Možnosti aplikace lezeckých aktivit ve školní tělesné výchově. Název anglicky The Possible Application of Climbing Activities in Physical Education at Primary School. Cíle práce Cílem této práce je zjistit zda, zařazení prvků sportovního lezení do školní TV napomáhá k udržení či zlepšení tělesné zdatnosti dětí hodnocené pomocí vybraných testů z baterie EUROFIT.
Steam boiler for fytomass
Baláš, Jiří ; Ing. Obrovský (referee) ; Skála, Zdeněk (advisor)
The purpose of this Diploma Thesis was the construction design of the steam boiler for fytomass. For the specified parameters of biomass have been gradually implemented stoichiometric calculations of which are further based calculation of enthalpies of combustion gas. In the next part have been dealt with heat balance of the boiler, the efficiency of the boiler, recirculation of exhaust gases and the temperature of the combustion gases in outlet from fire. Thereinafter, the proposal of particular heat surfaces of steam boiler was solved, so that the resulting number and size correspond to the desired parameters. The parameters are temperature, pressure and the amount of steam.
Men Experience a Faith Differently. Liturgical Services for Men
BALÁŠ, Jiří
The thesis presented for diploma will deal with man from psychological and spiritual aspects. It will highlight important elements that should be part of liturgy for men.
