Nanosized particles of oxides and oxide-hydroxides of Mg, Al, Ti
Šubrt, Jan ; Štengl, Václav ; Svobodová, Monika ; Bezdička, Petr ; Kváča, Zdeněk ; Večerníková, Eva ; Bakardjieva, Snejana
Nanosized particles of oxides and oxide-hydroxides of Mg, Al, Ti and Fe were prepared from organic precursors and by homogeneous precipitation of aqueous solutions. The oxide-hydroxides were dried using the 'Critical point drying' method and were characterized by SEM, TEM, electron diffraction, XRD and also by methods of thermal analysis.
Relations between structure, morphology a mechanical properties of cerianite based polishing powders
Bezdička, Petr ; Grygar, Tomáš ; Bakardjieva, Snejana ; Petřina, Antonín ; Augustová, Ivana
We studied relationships between structure, morphology a mechanical properties of cerianite based polishing powders.
Barrier Type Pigments for Corrosion Protection
Štengl, Václav ; Bakardjieva, Snejana ; Šubrt, Jan ; Kváča, Zdeněk
Alignment natural pigments specularite (.alpha. - Fe2O3 - "ferric mica") with the pigments based on modify mica. Mica flakes (muscovite) of particles size 20-80 nm were covered with layers Fe2O3 about thickness 1 nm by homogenous precipitation of fe
Photoactive Titanium Oxide - Perspective Pigments for 3rd Millenary
Štengl, Václav ; Bakardjieva, Snejana ; Šubrt, Jan ; Balek, Vladimír ; Jirkovský, Jaromír
Titania powders, widely used in industrial application as pigments, opacifiers, photocatalysts and fillers have been obtained either directly from titanium-bearing minerals or by precipitation from solutions of titanium salts or alkoksides.
Laboratory studies of sculpture works and materials in 2000
Hradil, David ; Bakardjieva, Snejana ; Bezdička, Petr ; Petřina, Antonín ; Šubrt, Jan
When restoring historical paintings and sculptures, some removed fragments have been measured using electron microanalysis and X-ray diffraction methods. Results obtained from this material research were used to identify the original ground and painting layers and to choose the suitable restoration procedure.
