THE PROBLEMATIC OF INTER-RELATIONSHIP BOUNDARIES IN THE CHRISTIAN ENVIRONMENT Summary In the Christian environment, the same sociological-psychological principles are valid as anywhere else. The aim of the work is to clarify the knowledge of the topic of borders on general level and to view the life of Jesus Christ, the ideal of humanity, from the perspective of borders. I will also attempt to show the way in which the incorrect and selective understanding of the gospel principles may lead to psychologically insane attitudes. This master's thesis "The activity of charitable organizations of the Catholic Church - compared to other organizations" aims to present the charity itself. It discusses the social effects of Churches in the Czech Republic, describes the service to the needed and presents the list of registered churches that are professionally involved in the social field. Mainly deals with the Caritas of the Czech Republic. The focus is on the diocesan Caritas in the Czech province, including: the Caritas Czech Budejovice, the Catholic Charities Diocese of Hradec Kralove, the Caritas Litomerice, the Caritas Plzen, the Archdiocese Caritas Prague, and Greek Catholic charity. The analysis was not determined only by defined areas of individual archdiocesan, diocesan or regional parishor charities, but also by the type of service (human development aid, social and legal counseling, sheltered workshops, probation system, retirement homes, etc.) as well as by the typologies of people, which the individual charities care (homeless, ex-convicts, women in need and their children, etc.). Bullying at ecclesiastic schools

The Diploma thesis "Bullying at ecclesiastic schools" first presents briefly the context of aggression at schools. Furthermore it describes the behaviour of an aggressor and his reasons to bully. It explains the keyword of a victim and shows which kinds of individuals become most frequently to be bullied. It solves the share of boys and girls on aggressive behaviour. It also takes into account the bullying from the juridical point of view, outlines the possible kinds of prevention against the bullying in families and first of all at school. This thesis also describes the consequences of the bullying on its victims. The last part of the thesis deals with proposal of possible steps to be taken in order to solve the bullying. In a practical part there are introduced two ecclesiastic Grammar schools in Prague where students of selected classes have been asked for their experiences with appearance of bullying at their school. Their answers have been examined - also in the graphical form.

Madelaine Delbrêl - inspiration for lay spirituality Abstract Madeleine Delbrêl is one of significant personalities in the Catholic Church in the twentieth century. Her way of life and her thoughts, in particular those regarding universal vocation to sainthood and mission influenced the Second Vatican Council. Her prophetic inspiration about lay dignity based on baptism was after thirty years expressed in many council documents and so contributed to a change of lay status in the Church. The thesis "Psychological and Spiritual Guide through Middle-Age Crisis" contains a synthesis of knowledge about middle-age crisis from the interdisciplinary point of view of psychology and spiritual theology in its first part. The fundamental opinion declares that middle-age crisis is not something to be suffered through but, in spite of all its demands, it is an opportunity and challenge for fuller and more authentic life, for maturation of a man and for getting closer to oneself and to God. In the second part of the thesis, knowledge and procedures of psychotherapy, crisis intervention and pastoral theology are used to concretize and extend the conclusions of the first part in a more practical way; hence, the paper can be used as a guide for those who are undergoing this period of life or those who want to accompany someone else on this way. The thesis is intended primarily, but not exclusively, to Christians who lack education in the psychosocial area and who is middle-age crisis a personal topic of themselves or of people around them for-be it their relatives or friends, or, in case of pastoral workers, clients in their professional care. Psychological and spiritual aspects of ageing crisis. This Bachelor's thesis focuses on the psychological and spiritual aspects of ageing crisis. The aim of this thesis is to identify ageing crisis difficulties and what potential does the ageing have in terms of personal growth. In the first part research by compilation method is presented. The attention is focused on the psychological aspects, including an acceptance of the physical and psychological changes, new family relations and career changes. The spiritual aspects of ageing crisis involves a path of spiritual growth, looking for the meaning of life, crisis of faith, conversion to faith and hope. In the second part, the thesis analyses the results of questionnaire survey among the people of faith for ages between forty to sixty-four. The respondents had been given a chance to express their opinion via free text to questions regarding ageing, meaning of life and the role of Church Community in helping the ageing people. The important outcome of this survey could provide valuable incentives for parish pastoral care. This thesis "Disease from the perspective of selected world religions" first defines related terms, such as health, illness and religion, and then presents the problem of disease in the Buddhist, Judaic, Christian and Islamic concepts. Information is obtained from the basic religious texts and then from considerations of experts who dealt with the issue. The main objective of this thesis is to show how the religion looks at the causes of disease and how these causes have been associated with human sin. There are also reflected differences that result from the historical development and the different currents of thought within each religion. The study also examined the impact that a religious basis for the practical life of the faithful in the medical and social. In conclusion, the positions of the various religions are compared.
Pastoral care of persons with physical disabilities - theory and application

The diploma thesis strives to map and analyze the pastoral care of people with disabilities in the Czech Republic, both theoretically and practically. The theoretical scope of the topic uses primarily scientific literature from the field of neurology, psychology and sociology. In this theoretical part, it does not ignore the social policy of the state, which should help these people. Great emphasis is also placed on biblical and ecclesiastical teachings. Professional literature from the field of special pedagogy and pastoral theology is used as well for analysing the practical aspects of the topic, but mainly it draws from the practical experience of respondents to the questionnaire created in the framework of this thesis. The first two chapters describe physical disabilities from the perspective of neurology and psychology. The third chapter analyses theoretically attitude of society and the state to this issue. The fourth and fifth chapters deal with the question of disability in terms of Bible and church documents. The next chapter maps the social activities and services of charities in the Czech Republic which are provided to people with physical and other types of disabilities.
