TV show Singing Lessons of author partners Zdeněk Svěrák and Jaroslav Uhlíř and it's didaktic utilization

This diploma thesis is focused on the didactic use of the TV programme Hodina zpěvu authored by Zdeněk Svěrák and Jaroslav Uhlíř. The first part of the thesis deals with the programme itself, a brief description of individual episodes and with its authors, whereas in the second part worksheets and other materials suitable for both face-to-face and distance learning are presented. The particular episodes of the programme are chosen based on the availability on the Česká televize website. The didactic materials focus on the development of vocal, instrumental, musical-motoric and listening activities.
The Influence of Music on the Identity Development of a Student of a Lower Secondary School

The diploma thesis aims to describe the influence of music on the identity development of a student at a lower secondary school. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part describes the term identity and musical identity and its development in adolescence. Also, it includes the description of Music education in the Czech Republic with focus on the lower secondary schools. It is concluded with the portrayal of a personality of a teacher in general, and the personality of a Music teacher. The core part of the thesis is the empiric part, which is focused on the influence of music on identity development in adolescence. It surveys the musical preferences of the pupils, the influence of a Music teacher, and the pupils' relationship to music. The participants of the research were 472 pupils of lower secondary schools in three regions of the Czech Republic. It was proved that musical preferences are not influenced by peers but rather social media; also, musical preferences are not conditioned by music education level. Furthermore, it was confirmed that music helps pupils deal with their problems and regulate their emotions. Folk songs from Pelhřimov, their editing innotation software and their possibilities of use

The thesis builds on the extensive work of bachelor of 2012. It examines the manuscript collection of songs Podstrážišťské Josef Václav Kratochvil. The first part describes the folk songs of Pelhřimov, folk songs in general and describes the development of folk songs in Bohemia and Moravia. This chapter also deals with the division of folk songs by region, collections of these regions and their collectors. These sub-themes also include sources and their gaining. Finally, the thesis refers to the collector Josef Václav Kratochvíl and his manuscript collection Podstrážišťské songs. In the next section the thesis classifies the literary aspect of songs, their themes and types also by the music side. In the following section the thesis discusses in general stylization of accompanied of folk songs. It also includes the possibility of using part of the folk songs and presents some selected examples of folk ensembles, folk institutions and the media which folklore spreads. Lay stress on the role of a family. Next the folk song is presented as a material that can be used in a pedagogical field. The essential part of the thesis is a supplement that contains 97 songs from the manuscript collection of songs compiled in a notation software.
Postmodern in the Music Pedagogy

The diploma thesis called Postmodernism and its Use in Music Education looks at the theme of postmodernism both from the general and the musical point of view. Its content reflects the needs of teachers interested in the use of postmodernism in their lessons. In the first part the sociological, philosophical and historical aspects are summarized. In the second part the postmodern tendencies in literature, visual art and films are outlined. The third part of the thesis defines the term of postmodern music and describes in details its evolution, main characteristics and the compositional techniques associated with it. It focuses particularly on the polystylism and the composers who use it in their works. The last part of the thesis describes several lessons dealing with these compositions taking into consideration the contemporary innovative methods of education (for example, group work or the project method). These lesson plans may inspire teachers to use contemporary music in their lessons and contribute to increase of its use.
Person of Jaroslav Kocian and his influence to the musical development of the town Ústí nad Orlicí

Bachelor dissertation ,,Jaroslav Kocian and his influence on the musical development of the town of Usti nad Orlici " is focused on his activities in Usti nad Orlici. This has been described since his childhood, his presence in Cecilia Musical Society, the time of holding concerts in the city until the artist's death. The aim is to summarize Kocian artistic activities in Usti nad Orlici, to characterize the personality of Jaroslav Kocian from different poin of views and to highlight his ability to awake great musical enthusiasm in Usti. His tremandous willingness combined with his other abilities such as organizing events, playing violin, singing and conducting led to increase the cultural level of the city. Due to the influence of Jaroslav Kocian and other enthusiastic musicians with a rich musical tradition the town Usti is still famous today. Especially, Elementary Music School of Jaroslav Kocian, Chamber Orchestra of Jaroslav Kocian, Festival "Kocian's Usti" and Kocian's Violin Competition are well known and the most important institutions.

Vo svojej práci o hudobných skladateľoch Jánovi Cikkerovi a Eugenovi Suchoňvi venujem pozornosť vstupu obidvoch skladateľov do slovenského hudobného života, ich životným osudom a sumárnemu hodnoteniu ich klavírnej tvorby v kontexte vývoja slovenskej hudby 20.storočia. Z dostupných prameňov a literatúry prenášam poznatky súvisiace s problematikou hry na klavíri, v snahe priblížiť túto klavírnu literatúru vo výchovnovyučovacom procese ZUŠ, čo mi umožnilo pôvodne nepredpokladané stretnutie s životopiskyňou a celoživotnou priateľkou Jána Cikkera PhDr. Mariannou Bárdiovou, vedúcou Literámo-hudobného múzea (LHM) - Štátnej vedeckej knižnice v Banskej Bystrici. Práca môže byť praktickým prínosom pre učiteľov a žiakov v podmienkach ZUŠ, pretože vybrané skladby sú v praxi využívané pomerne ojedinele, aj keď by to prospelo k vnímavosti detí k ľudovej hudbe a k zblíženiu žiakov českých a slovenských v oblasti jazykovej. Possibilities of the Interactive Whiteboard Use at the Lessons of Music at the First Grade of Elementary Schools

v anglickém jazyce: This Diploma thesis aim is to describe the issue of the interactive whiteboard use, as well as its advantages and disadvantages at the lessons of Music. The goal of the Theoretical part is to cover the history of the interactive whiteboard application, the main types of boards, their characteristics, programmes, available learning programmes etc. The Practical part offers several personal examples of the work with the interactive board proven to be successful in my educational music practice. A research of the use of the interactive whiteboard by the primary teachers at a chosen sample of elementary schools will also be included.
