Public library and the education of younger pupilage reader´s
BÍLKOVÁ, Martina
The aim of our diploma thesis is the foundation of participation of the public libraries in an younger pupilage?s education. The next aim are the possibilities and intensity of the co-operation with schools, families and other institutions. In the theoretical part we dealt with the meaning and role of the public library, stages of the pupil?s reading with the target of the younger pupils, their reading capacity, preferred genres and factors that have an influence on the reader. We also charted the current possibilities of the libraries as to organization of the regional library projects and actions. In the practical part we dealt with the history and present of the Šmidinger library in Strakonice. Thanks to the questionnaire and discussions we determinated the attendance of the library and children?s satisfaction with the library in Strakonice. At the end of our thesis we placed the interview with the library worker who works in the children?s ward of the library in Strakonice.
A comparison of the Contact and HRQOL concept in clients of nursing/old people´s homes
BÍLKOVÁ, Marie
This dissertation concerning the theme "A comparison of the Contact and HRQOL concept in clients of nursing/old people´s homes" consists of a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part firstly defines in detail the concept of the quality of life and the quality of life related to health (HRQoL ? health related quality of life). It also describes various methods of its evaluation. The next charter deals with the problems of aging and changes which arise with increasing age and are associated with a deteriorating health condition, as well as with situations and circumstances which may reset in a chase in the perception of the quality of life. The dissertation takes a closer look at the stay of elderly in some institutions for the elderly. The theoretical part compares the results obtained from elderly clients in an old people?s home using standardised SF-36 and Contact questionnaires. The SF-36 questionnaire is designed to measure the quality of life related to health and the Contact questionnaire serves to ascertain the frequency of contact between family and friends ant he elderly client. Data from both questionnaires were evaluated statistically and drawn up in the form of tables and graphs. This research showed a reduced perception of the quality of life of clients living in old people?s homes compared with the standard European population. In most domains of the quality of life there was no significant difference between clients with various frequency of contact with family and friends, and no difference was found n the evaluation of the quality of life between men and women.
Chalcogenide glasses of Ge-In-S(Se) system doped by Pr3+ ionts
Bílková, M. ; Frumarová, Božena ; Frumar, M. ; Vlček, M. ; Černošek, Z.
Glasses of Ge-In-S(Se) system were studied and theire optical properties were determined.
Thin Films of Sb2S3 Doped by Sm3+ Ions
Frumarová, Božena ; Bílková, M. ; Frumar, M. ; Repka, M. ; Jedelský, J.
Pure and Sm3+ doped amorphous thin films of Sb2S3 were prepared by thermal co-evaporation of Sb2S3 and Sm metal. From transmittance measurement, the absorption edge, index of refraction, thickness , Eg opt relative permittivity, single oscillator energy and dispersion energy were determined.
Synthesis and Optical Properties of Ge-In-S Glasses Doped by Pr3+ Ions
Bílková, M. ; Frumarová, Božena ; Frumar, M. ; Vlček, M. ; Černošek, Z.
Praseodymium doped Ge-In-S glasses were prepared and studied. Glasses of the composition 80GeS2 20In2S3 can dissolve relatively large amounts of Pr3+ ions and form stable and homogeneous glasses.
Synthesis and optical properties of glasses systems Ge-In-S dotted by Pr3+ iont
Bílková, M. ; Frumarová, Božena ; Frumar, M. ; Vlček, M.
High purity glasses of (GeS2)100-x(In2S3)x y Pr2S3 (x=0-30, y=0-7) were prepared and their thermal and optical properties measured.
Economic relations between Mexico and United States
Bilková, Michaela ; Černá, Iveta (advisor) ; Taušer, Josef (referee)
First chapter deals with the general characteristics of Mexico and United States and with macroeconomic trends. I also describe the financial crisis impacts.
