Supercharger for internal combustion engines
Bílek, Vojtěch ; Svída, David (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis dealing with supercharges for combustion engines is focused on introducing the principles of how superchargers actually function in the combustion engines. The introduction briefly explains the topic to the reader and outlines the structure of the thesis. The following part involves a brief historical excursion of supercharging. Explanation of thermodynamic circuits in combustion engines follows. The main part of the thesis describes the individual types of supercharging, while the conclusion stresses the most common malfunctions and gives an overview of latest technologies development, since these will allow motor vehicles to achieve better dynamics and a more ecological operation.
Rear cover hinge design of car
Bílek, Vojtěch ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Řehák, Kamil (advisor)
The thesis deals with the issue of suspension of the 5th passenger car door. The introductory part deals with the possibilities of mounting the 5th passenger car door. In the next part, a HDS hinge was selected, which is further solved using a numerical and experimental method. Aluminium alloy was used on this HDS hinge to reduce weight. In the first step, a technical experiment was performed on the existing state (steel) and a strain-strain analysis was performed. Based on the stress-strain analysis of the material change variant without structural change, unsatisfactory results were obtained. After that, design changes were proposed such as increasing the thickness of the tube wall in the Creo program, and this variant was also subjected to a stress-strain analysis using the numerical modelling. Comparison of the results was based on the values of elastic deformation and equivalent stress. Finally, the thesis dealt with the manufacturability of the proposed component within which, a technical experiment was carried out.
Plural Variants Incidence of the Fourth Verbal Class of the Pattern "sází" in the Contemporary Czech Fiction
Bílek, Vojtěch ; Sojka, Pavel (advisor) ; Adam, Robert (referee)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to explore the use of Czech verb pattern "sázejí" and "sází" doublets in contemporary Czech fiction. The theoretical part provides a description of the historical development of the "sázet" pattern, describes the codification history of morphological variation, and describes the characteristics of the Czech fiction language sphere. The empirical part presents a sample of twelve Czech books and their editorial intervention habits. For each of these books, the characteristic language and sociolinguistic factors of the generation and the authors' regional origin are described. The hypotheses are set and presented based on the already existing research performed by Pavel Sojka, especially the research focusing on the prose of Bohumil Hrabal. Following the presentation of the individual results, the conclusion is presented and compared with the preceding research. This thesis confirms the competing tendencies of both variants as described by Sojka and further expands the mapped inter-paradigmatic balancing area by describing certain differences in the collected data. The provided conclusion describes factors influencing the distribution of doublets in fiction and summarises the stylistic trends in the Czech fiction sphere. Poverty and social exclusion in regions of the Czech Republic during the period 2005 - 2015: focusing on regions Praha, Severovýchod, Jihovýchod and Moravskoslezsko
Bílek, Vojtěch ; Kotýnková, Magdalena (advisor) ; Pavlíček, Tomáš (referee)
Diploma thesis directs on poverty and social exclusion in the Czech Republic between years 2005 and 2015. The thesis focuses mainly on at risk of poverty rate, at risk of poverty and social exclusion rate and overall comparison of development of selected factors in NUTS 2 regions. The aim is to assess the impact of changes in the structure of education, economic development, employment and unemployment on poverty in selected regions of the Czech Republic and comparison of these regions among themselves. Among the selected regions are Praha, Severovýchod, Jihovýchod and Moravskoslezsko. The main hypothesis is the assumption that regions with lower share of tertiary educated people will show a lower percentage of people at risk of poverty and social exclusion.
