Induction machine design software
Rúra, Dávid ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Bárta, Jan (advisor)
This thesis is dealing with design algorithm of squirrel cage machines with TEFC design focusing on electromagnetic and thermal design. This type of machine is mostly used in the industry because of its specific properties. Design TEFC machines are supported by year-tested analytical calculations with high accuracy. The aim of this work is to decrease human factor in the design process implementing algorithms and optimization.
Electromagnetic finite element modelling of electrical machines using open-source tools
Žíla, Jakub ; Klíma, Jiří (referee) ; Bárta, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with electromagnetic computation by opensource softwares. The simulation of three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor is made using opensource programs. Results of simulations are compared with professional software ANSYS Maxwell and with measurements on the machine. All softwares in this thesis use the finest element method for a computation.
Software piracy
Bárta, Jan ; Holcová, Irena (advisor) ; Křesťanová, Veronika (referee)
The computer program has recently become a common part of everyday life of the modern society whereas the life and work are very hard to imagine without them. Computer program's right infringement, software piracy, is a very specific phenomenon, which, according to my opinion, deserves thorough processing. This thesis is trying to support specialized publications with facts especially from the area of functional aspects of warez scene and its connection with common users of pirate programs, emphasizing single pirate methods, the structure and legal analysis of important aspects of this phenomenon. This thesis consists of nine chapters, which are further divided with respect to the single topics. Chapter One is an introduction into the topic and adumbrates basic problems of software piracy. Chapter Two attends to the computer program and software. The first part distinguishes the terms software and computer program, the second part displays basic sources of computer programs legal regulation, part three characterizes the computer program as a special type of author's craft, the fourth part describes contractual and non-contractual usage of computer programs, the fifth part explains the topic of digital rights management and the last, the sixth part represents analysis of legal protection of computer...
Joe Sacco and Guy Delisle : views on comics journalism
Bárta, Jan ; Sládková, Hana (referee) ; Kruml, Milan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis "Joe Sacco and Guy Delisle: Two Views on Comics Journalism" deals with the possibility of existence of comics journalism, taking examples from work of two contemporary cartoonists, non-fiction comics authors Joe Sacco and Guy Delisle. To begin with, I'm trying to define comics phenomena and introduce its expressive devices and comics-specific techniques. Afterwards follows a short summary of history of comics, with a particular focus on history of American and Franco-Belgian comics. Then I would in short introduce the life and work of our two cartoonists together with a brief comparison of their visual style. The main part of the thesis is nevertheless the analysis and comparison of Joe Sacco's investigative reporting comic Footnotes in Gaza and Guy Delisle's comic travelogue Burma Chronicles. In the final part I'm due to answer the question of whether the comics journalism is possible and what could be its contribution.
Unofficial music scene and the state power. Realisation the music band "Nahoru po schodišti dolů band" in StB action "Hera" in the first half of the eighties twentieth century
Bárta, Jan ; Beneš, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Vaněk, Miroslav (referee)
This Thesis deals with realisation of music band "Nahoru po schodišti dolů band" by State Secret Police (Státní Bezpečnost - STB), under the code-name action "HERA". It Describes elemental principles and whatness of repressive measures apllied by the state power against the unofficial music scene bands in the First half of the Eighties in Czechoslovakia. Results from the thesis is the concrete exemlification an action of power apparatus which is demonstrated by the presented music group. The Thesis also proves an influence unoffcial music scene on forming an opposition.
Financing Project from Sources European Union
Bárta, Jan ; Suchodolová, Věra (referee) ; Kocmanová, Alena (advisor)
Subject matter of my bachelor´s work is ,, Proposal of Project financed from EU structural funds.“ The main project is building of sport stadium for VSK VUT Brno Alligators players and other athletes purposes. Theoretical part unreveal knowledge about project management and EU structural funds. The practical part then main solution of project. The objektive of my work is creating of financing building stadium proposal, which is determined mainly for VSK VUT Brno Alligators team purposes.
Simulation model of levitation magnet and magnetic bearing
Stuchlý, Karel ; Bárta, Jan (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to make a review about konstruction and options of simulation of active magnetic bearing. This active magnetic bearing will be a part of milk pump in food industry. A traditional oil lubricated bearing could devalue a fluid. As a part of the work is carried out a simulation of levitation electromagnet by a computer program ANSYS Simplorer and Maxwell. Consequently, knowledge of this simulation are applied to simulate two-axis magnetic bearing, which is simulated.
Axial magnetic flux electric machine
Lacina, David ; Bárta, Jan (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with axial flux permanent magnet machines. It is divided into four parts. The first one describes how axial-flux machines can be categorized. It also explains basic construction designs and their properties. Second part focuses on designing axial-flux machine. The analytical calculation of the machine is then checked using finite element method in software Ansys Maxwell. In the last part the calculations are also checked by measurement of an actual axial flux machine. In the summary is a comparison of analytical calculation, simulation and measuring.
Effect of Manufacturing Variations of Permanent Magnets in Surface-Mounted Permanent Magnet Motors
Vícha, Adam ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Bárta, Jan (advisor)
Master’s thesis summs up issues of mounting pemanent magnets on rotor surface of permanent magnet synchronous machine. Literature reseach is divided in two parts. First one shows studies and experiments researching the impact of manufacturing tolerances of permanent magnets and wrong mounting on the rotor on cogging torque . The second part focus on analytical aproach of defining influence of permanent magnets on magnetic flux density in the air gap and phase induced voltage. Practical part focus on design of a prototype machine, wich will be used to research the impact of tolerances and imperfections. Parametric model of the prototype machine is created in Maxwell and is subjected to analysis via finite element method. Three different analysis were run, offset of permanent magnet, decrease and wrong dicertion of magnetization. At last the result of cogging torque and induced voltage are compared.
