This thesis is focused on building monitoring system for well-being in depends on air quality. Measured values are temperature, relative humidity, illuminance, barometric pressure, CO2 concentration and dust pollution. The thesis includes hardware and software design with implementation of wireless communication protocol Zigbee. Function testing with measurement of behavior is also the part of the thesis.
Automatic Manipulator for 3D Printer Farm
Khmil, Denys ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Arm, Jakub (advisor)
Testing station for PCB device check
Stejskal, David ; Baštán, Ondřej (referee) ; Arm, Jakub (advisor)
The testing process is not an indispensable part only of production, it serves to verify the properties with regard to the specific requirements for the final product. The main purpose of testing is, without a doubt, to reduce the service costs in the future. It is certainly no surprise that there is an effort to automate this process as efficiently as possible, especially for larger series of products. The purpose of this master's thesis is to design a concept and subsequently an electrical, hardware and software solution of a testing device for the output inspection of manufactured printed circuit boards (PCB). The specificity of the work consists in the creation of a universal testing PCB that can program and debug AVR microprocessors and chips from the company Espressif, and at the same time it is able to perform automatic tests through the so-called customizable PCB. The customizable board is a designation for a test stand that must always be designed specifically for a particular product (tested PCB). To communicate with the peripherals used on this board, the test PCB exclusively uses the I2C bus, the great advantage of which is the need to use only one pair of wires. A service desktop application was created to control and visualize the test process.
Testbed for Simulation of MCU Application using RTL Environment
Ohnút, Petr ; Burian, František (referee) ; Arm, Jakub (advisor)
The thesis is focused on creating a test framework for easy simulation and configuration of mcu applications. The framework also provides basic processing of simulation output data, such as measuring UART or SPI communication speed, checking the expected instruction with the currently executed one, counting the executed individual instructions during the simulation, etc. Test scenarios are designed to simulate the implemented functionalities of the framework. Finally, the results of each test scenario are discussed.
Sparse Representation of Signals
Mesárošová, Michaela ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
People who are immobile or lie for long periods are at high risk of developing pressure ulcers and require additional care. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the condition of such persons as simply and efficiently as possible. In this work, we focus on processing the signals provided by a pressure mattress with a 30x11 sensor grid on which a person lays and the possibilities of its use after conversion into sparse representation coefficients. Redundant dictionaries, also known as frames, enable non-orthogonal representation of signals, which leads to a sparse representation of coefficients. Since this approach provides many advantageous properties and is being used in various applications, such as denoising, segmentation, robust transformations, quantum theory, and others, we verified the possibility of classifying a person’s lying position based on a sparse representation. The results were compared with other traditional classification methods, which were found to be less suitable for the classification problem, with the best-achieved result of 92.41 % for CNN, but with high demands on time, design and complexity. The success rate of the classification reached 92.76 %, with fewer demands on design and implementation complexity. The possibilities of classification and reconstruction of an image containing occlusions were also investigated, where the sparse representation proved to be an effective method to remove these defects.
Multiagent systems for distributed production
Žiačik, Martin ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (advisor)
Manufacturing companies today face a dynamic environment in which economic, technological, and customer trends are changing rapidly, requiring increased demands for flexibility and agility in production management and planning. The use of multi-agent systems that reflect these demands in their design can be a suitable alternative to traditional centralized production management. In this thesis I discuss the theoretical aspect of this issue and based on the obtained knowledge a model of such decentralized production is proposed. I then verify the suitability of the multi-agent approach to production management on the developed simulator. The outputs of the thesis can form the basis for the deployment of multiagent structures in real production enterprises. Also with the help of such conceptual changes in production, enterprises are moving closer to the modern principles of Industry 4.0.
Testbed for virtual commissioning of PLC system
Nosek, Jakub ; Arm, Jakub
The work deals with the creation of a testbed for the virtual commissioning of a PLC system. The testbed consists of Unity, a virtual PLC, a Rest API server and a C # application. The production process is simulated at Unity using a Siemens virtual PLC. The data is sent from Unity in JSON format to the Rest API server, where it is read by a C # application and the program is modified if necessary. After editing, the simulation restarts. The testbed is intended to optimize the PLC application, i.e.crisis treatment, collision avoidance and line tact reduction.
Application for formal testing of PLC program
Sýkora, Ondřej ; Arm, Jakub
The paper deals with developing application for testing of selected errors contained in Siemens TIA Portal V16 PLC Project. The application is being developed for the company ICE Industrial Services. The application should find bugs that programmers or PLC code generators make, but TIA Portal cannot detect them defaultly. In this moment, application is able to open or find opened TIA Portal project and load its important parts to my structure – ProjectBlocks structure. Application can also find some errors described in Chapter 2.
I4.0 3D printer control system for the printer farm
Štrobl, Roman ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Baštán, Ondřej (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the creation of an autonomous control system that will communicate with a 3D printer and MES system. The Raspberry Pi single board computer was chosen as the HW platform for the control system. The system was written in the Python programming language, which supports modern programming paradigms. The work describes the structure of the system according to the requirements that were defined and the software solution of individual modules. The conclusion of the work is devoted to testing the system and evaluating the achieved results.
