Treatment of waste rubber by co-gasification with brown coal
Straka, Pavel ; Kříž, Vlastimil ; Káš, Václav ; Hanzlíček, Tomáš ; Brožová, Zuzana
Experiment in industrial scale proved that waste rubber can be treated by co-gasification with brown coal.
Advanced technical ceramics and burning-out
Stoklasa, Jaroslav
Separation of advanced technical ceramics from classical ceramics is discussed. Directions of this branch are presented by the example of the burning-out process.
Renewable sources of energy and fossil fuels - the stage of coexistence
Buchtele, Jaroslav
Production of energy, heat and chemicals can be secured by co-processing of organic wastes and biomass with coal. Co-processing remove landfilling of wastes.
Possibilities of cokes from copyrolysis with organic waste utilization
Burdová, Olga ; Buchtele, Jaroslav ; Roubíček, V.
Copyrolysis of both hard coal and brown coal with waste plastics was carried out. With the rising portion of waste plastics the yield of coke decreases while the yields of tar and gas increase. Characteristics of cokes and tars obtained are presented and discussed.
Toxic elements in cokes and tars from copyrolysis
Straka, Pavel ; Kříž, Vlastimil ; Endrýsová, Jana
Toxic elements in tars and cokes from copyrolysis of coal with waste polymers were investigated. Tars can be used as heatings oils, because teh content of toxic elements was low. Use of cokes as smokeless fuel can be problematic, because content of Pb was rather high.
Utilization of solid biomass waste through co-pyrolysis with coal
Čermáková, Petra ; Buchtele, Jaroslav
Solid biomass yields a valuable products while it is copyrolyzed together with coal. The main product, carbonaceous solid rest, can serve as an industrial sorbent or smokeless fuel.
