R-waves in an orthotropic elastic half-plane
Červ, Jan
The properties of Rayleigh waves in an orthotropic elastic half-plane are studied in the paper. It is supposed that body axes x, y and principal materials axes 1,2 coincide. the laminate Aramid is then considered as an examle of typical orthotropic material it has been proven that R-waves propagate in principal directions nondispersively.
Waves in thin orthotropic elastic plate
Volek, J. ; Červ, Jan ; Valeš, F.
The analytical solutions based on Kirchhoff and Rayleigh approximations of a thin elastic orthotropic plate under transverze load are discussed in the paper. The results are compared with those obtained by means of FEM.
Numerical and experimental investigation of stress wave propagation in orthotropic strip
Zemčík, R. ; Červ, Jan ; Laš, V.
Our intention is to assess the credibility of such homogenization in the case of stress wave propagation induced by impact and apply the experience gained to the non-stationary state of comlex laminated composites together with the consideration of material damage.
Stress wave propagation in orthotropic strips with geometrical inhomogeneities
Zemčík, R. ; Červ, Jan ; Laš, V.
The response of a thin orthotropic strip due to in-plane non-stationary loading is investigated.
Some conditions for existence of R-waves in an orthotropic elastic half-plane
Červ, Jan
In the paper are studied some conditions which are necessary for the existence of Rayleigh (edge) waves in an orthotropic elastic half-plane.
Determination of elastic moduli of anisotropic solids from ultrasonic measurements
Seiner, H. ; Landa, Michal
This nondestructive, and partially noncontact method have a potential for material evalution of layered anisotropic structures.
Evaluation of anisotropic properties of composites using laser-generated ultrasound
Landa, Michal ; Blaháček, Michal ; Zídek, Jan
This nondestructive, and partially noncontact method have a potential for material evalution of layered anisotropic structures.
Waves in materials with cubic anisotropy
Červ, Jan
There are studied properties of elastic waves, which propagate through material with cubic symmetry.
The crack influence on stress wave propagation
Zemčík, R. ; Laš, V. ; Červ, Jan
In the presented paper there is analysed the interaction of stress waves with geometrical inhomogeneities of the crack-type.
Non-stationary stress state of transversally loaded thin and thick plates
Valeš, František ; Pelikán, Vladimír ; Hora, Petr ; Volek, J. ; Červ, Jan
In the paper, the solution of non-stationary stress-state of thick and thin plates transversally loaded on one of their faces is described. The solution of the thick plate is based on equations of motion of 3D continuum. The results of analytical, numrical FEM and experimetal analysis are presented.
