Analysis of spatial behaviour: application of mental maps and interviews

The article concentrates upon the theories and concepts of spatial behaviour of individuals. First, it introduces main theories regarding characteristics of the environment, the influence of the environment upon the individual and the spatial behaviour itself. Upon these concepts, it will introduce the method of sketching of mental maps of environment. Further, the article offers a typology of mental maps, which is based upon an extensive research.
Burglars: The influence of family and place attachment upon the choice of targets

The article concentrates upon the influence of family environment, in the form of place-attachment and personality, upon the process of committing burglary. Burlary is the most common non-violent crime and very often the offender is not apprehended or the crime itself is not reported. Thus, by understanding the offenders, their strategies and reasons for commiting the crime we can implement better preventive methods.
