Boháček, Kryštof
The article deals with the question of the future of Europe in the era of globalization. The starting points are university as the last common respected classical european institution, and the topical problem of increasing differentiation of faculties and specialisation, which leads to loss of the unique humanist ethos of european knowledge. Without any unifying philosophical idea university will be transformed either to some training center or a research institute.
