(P,V,T) Behaviour of Benzene + C3-Alkylbenzene Liquid Systems at Temperatures 298.15 K to 328.15 K
Linek, Jan ; Morávková, Lenka
Densities of liquid systems benzene + isopropylbenzene, benzene + 1,2,4-trimethylbenzene, and benzene + 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene were measured at temperatures (298.15, 308.15, 318.15 a 328.15) K by means of a vibrating-tube densimeter. Excess molar volumes calculated from the density data yield the temperature dependence of this quantity within 298-328 K.
Excess Molar Volumes of the Benzene + Isopropylbenzene, or + 1,2,4-Trimethylbenzene, or + 1,3,5- Trimethylbenzene Systems at Temperatures between 298.15 K and 328.15 K
Linek, Jan ; Morávková, Lenka
The densities of benzene + isopropylbenzene, benzene + 1,2,4-trimethylbenzene, and benzene + 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene were measured at temperatures (298.15, 308.15, 318.15, and 328.15) K by means of a vibrating-tube densimeter. The excess molar volumes calculated from the density data provide the temperature dependence of in the temperature range of 298 K to 328 K.

Densities of binary liquid mixtures of octane-benzene, -toluene, -m-xylene and -1,3,5-trimethylbenzene have been measured at 298.15, 308.15, and 328.15 K and atmospheric pressure by a vibrating-tube densimeter.

Densities were measured for the liquid benzene and 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene, and for nine their mixtures at four temperatures between 298.15 K and 328.15 K and at pressures up to 40 MPa. An apparatus for density measurements of liquid and liquid mixtures whose main part is a high-pressure vibrating-tube densimeter working in a static mode was used for the measurement. The density data were fitted to the Tait equation and the isothermal compressibilities were calculated with the aid of this equation. Excess molar volumes were also calculated from the densities and fitted to the Redlich-Kister equation.
