Využití Hilbertovy báze k ověření shodnosti strukturálních a kombinatorických imsetů
Šimeček, Petr ; Studený, Milan
Práce zkoumá hypotézu shodnosti strukturálních a kombinatorických imsetů v případě čtyř či méně veličin.
Classes of Gaussian, Discrete and Binary Representable Independence Models Have No Finite Characterization
Šimeček, Petr
The paper shows that there is no finite set of forbidden minors which characterizes classes of independence models that are representable by Gaussian, discrete and binary distributions, respectively.
Rozklad pravděpodobnostních tabulek representujících boolovské funkce
Vomlel, Jiří
We apply tensor rank-one decompositionnto conditional probability tables representing Boolean functions. We present a numerical algorithm that can be used to find a minimal tensor rank-one decomposition together with the results of the experiments performed using the proposed algorithm. We pay special attention to a family of Boolean functions that are common in probabilistic models from practice - monotone and symmetric Boolean functions.
The use of the concept of Hilbert base to verify a hypothesis about coincidence of structural and combinatorial imsets
Šimeček, P. ; Studený, Milan
The topic of the contribution is computer experiments whose aim is to confirm or refuse a hypothesis about coincidence of two special classes of integral vectors, called structural and combinatorial imsets. This question is closely related to the task of finding so-called minimal integral Hilbert basis of a certain rational convex cone.
