Experimentální míchací pumpa pro sonografické kontrastní látky

In this paper we describe the design of a homemade experimental syringe mixing pump for ultrasound contrast agents. The pump enables the continual infusion and bolus while mixing the contents of the syringe. The control of the pump is ensured by microcontrollers and is fully programmable by the user. The device is battery operated and has a robust mechanical construction.
Dvoukanálový, komplexní, bioimpedanční signál pro vyhodnocení hemodynamiky

The complex bioimpedance signals measured in the aortal and pulmonary artery directions simultaneously are discussed with respect to the information about the heart activity. All four signals carry some information about the blood flow, this information is partly equivalent (only SNR improvement and some artefact minimizations may be achieved by processing all signals) and partly non-equivalent (different behaviour according to excitation of the cardiovascular system). The more detailed analysis of time evolution of signal parameters according to the used excitation may contribute to new information about the hemodynamic system.
Dvoukanálové zařízení pro impedanční kardiografii

We introduce our design of the device for the two-channel impedance cardiography. Our solution is based on a direct digital synthesizer and a digital down converter. This enables us to obtain a high quality bioimpedance signal, which can be used for computing the cardiac output beat per beat.
