Synthesis of ligands and reductive coupling catalysts
Žáková, Andrea ; Hulla, Martin (advisor) ; Schulz, Jiří (referee)
This thesis investigates Frustrated Lewis pair hydrogenation catalysts for the use in reductive amination reactions. A series of tin complexes using Schiff base ligands was synthetized. Their ability to act as Lewis acids in Frustrated Lewis pair catalysis was disclosed by series of experiment including Gutmann Beckett method, H2 activation using high pressure NMR measurements and hydrogenation catalytic testing. Synthetized ditriflate and monotriflate complexes were proven to reversibly activate H2 at room temperature and 60 řC respectively. All of the synthetized compounds successfully mediated imine hydrogenation confirming Frustrated Lewis pairs catalysis.
Implementation of an application supporting destination event management
Žáková, Andrea ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Dohnal, František (referee)
This master thesis is a follow-up to my bachelor thesis which deals with analysis and design of web application for a company Wedding in Prague Inc. Area of interest for this master thesis is a review of analysis and design of application and its implementation. The main aim of the thesis is to create an online wedding application for this company that organizes and plans weddings. The applications purpose is to provide an optimal informatics support for priority processes of the company. To achieve the aim, it was necessary to review analysis of the application including a review of requirements. And because of the scale of these requirements it was necessary to prioritize these requirements. After that I did a review of original design and then I implemented and tested priority functionality of the application. This topic was chosen because the company needed informatics support of existing processes and needed to provide its customers with wedding pages. These wedding pages will be used for wedding administration and providing wedding participants with information about oncoming wedding. Because no suitable application was found on market it was necessary to develop this application. Firstly, the thesis includes a definition of a destination event management and a description of companys processes. After that there is a review of requirements, use case diagrams and a design of user interface. The next chapter focuses on a review of an application design. This includes class diagram, component diagram and a database design. Chapter after that includes implementation of application using framework ASP.NET and it also includes testing cases for this application. The last chapter includes a user manual which describes the functionality of the applications. Contribution of this thesis is to implement and to test a web application which includes a priority functionality (60% of all functionality). This enables easy administration of all organized weddings. Also, it will help expand reputation of the company.
Creativ drama as a method of helping children with specific learning needs
Žáková, Andrea ; Marušák, Radek (referee) ; Tomková, Anna (advisor)
The thesis consists of a theorecial and an empirical section. The theoretical section introduces creativ drama as one of the practicable methods for the reeducation of specific learning and behavioral disabilities in young learners (school children between the ages of 6 and 11). It refers to the suitability of creativ methods and techniques in the integration of children with specific learning and behavioral disabilities to normal classrooms, and to creativ methods and techniques practicable in the reeducation of learning disabled children. The empirical section verifies introduced theoretical findings in a research conducted at an elementary school. The research compares a scenic club designed for children with specific learning and behavioral disabilites with the integration of these children to a normal classroom via creativ drama methods.
Managerial skills
Žáková, Andrea ; Kříž, Josef (advisor) ; Miloslav, Miloslav (referee)
This Thesis is focused on the managerial skills of the whole team real estate brokers in company Realitní kancelář Pubec, s.r.o. This Thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part of Thesis, the theoretical basis, explains who is the manager and his personality, managerial roles and function, management and skills in detail. There is explained also the difference between a leader and a manager. The comparison if the most important personalities´ attitudes in the area of management is located in the theoretical part of Masters´s thesis. In the second part is characterized the chosen subject - Realitní kancelář Pubec. The survey is based on questionnaire, which is structured into four main parts (general information, importance of soft skills, soft skills self-assessmnet and opened questions), and interviewing the whole team in the company in order to gain more information and feedback. The results are also compared with theoretical assumptions which are formulated in the first part of Thesis. There are results and its evaluation of every single part of the questionnaire in the end of Thesis. Final chapter is dedicated to possibilites of future progress of management skills.
Analysis and design of an application supporting destination event management
Žáková, Andrea ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Dohnal, František (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to find an optimal informatics support for selected processes in the company Wedding in Prague Inc. For this purpose this thesis contains an analysis and a design of selected processes of the company and a definition of company requirements. According to this determine whether a suitable application on a market exists or not. Because no suitable application was found this thesis also contains a design a database, functionality and a component layout of user interface. This thesis includes definition of a destination event management, an analysis of the current state of the company followed by a definition of requirements for the application. Based on this requirements determine whether a suitable application exists on the market. Because no suitable application was found it was necessary to analyze and design the company processes selected for an informatics support. Finally, the application is analyzed and designed together with a design of subsequent iterations of the application development. Contribution of this thesis is to analyze and design an informatics support for the company Wedding in Prague Inc.
