Production single parts from sheet metal

The aim of this diploma thesis is processing the new technology of production single parts from metal plate „ Vanečka", which produced is yearly set 50000 pieces. Component of made in steel S235JRG1 (ČSN 41 1373) thickness 3 and 5 mm. Based on literary search rolling cutting and bending are designed two variants of production. Both variants use for cut - out cloak and face rolling cutting close - set on press LEN 63C. Different operation is bending. First variant includes bending in the bending tool, the other on press brake. Both variants is processed economics revaluation and consequently intended transition points.
Surface treatment of spherical pin

Diploma thesis is worked-up as a part of master’s studies of engineering technology M2I – K, analyzing the possible methods of surface treatment of spherical pin, that increase its corrosion resistance. Spherical pin is mounted into several types of chassis components such as joints, control arms, etc. The current situation is inconvenient for manufacturers, insufficient corrosion protection increases the number of complaints and this may be reflected in the number of future orders. Via of suitable surface treatment is to achieve a higher corrosion resistance while maintaining the functional properties of pins used.
Proposal technology of production scheet-metal part of car body

The Master’s Thesis is focused on stamping of sheet metal parts. The analyzed part is a structural part of an automobile body. The part is made of DC04 (cold rolled mild steel) material. The annual pruduction volume is 10.000 pieces. Theoretical background research is a knowledge base for design of tooling that can produce parts which meet quality requirements. There are three technological processes proposed in the Thesis. An economic analysis identifies the optimal technological process for the production volume. The thesis contains a complex analysis that confirmes material formability. Computer simulation verifies the part design, material and technological parameters of the forming process.
Production single parts by techlogy high - speed cutting

This thesis deals with technology design of stamping production made of CuSn4 bronzy band by using high-speed cutting. First part of the thesis is focused on description of cutting technology, second part analyses high-speed cutting technology. Thanks to both analysis a module sequential die was constructed. The die is connected to the BSTA machine via quick-clamp system. This BSTA 250 machine produced by Bruderer company was chosen based on technology calculations. All necessary calculations, selected parts of drawing documentation as well as technical-economical evaluation of the technology design are mentioned in the thesis.
Production of the component "Lid"

This project developed within the Bachelor study of Engineering Technology proposes a technology component “Lid” made of1 mm thick sheet metal ofmaterial11 375(1.0038). The component will be made on a combined roll forming machine. A mount with two pillars will be used for the production, which will be located in an eccentric press LEN 40C by TOMA Industries Ltd. based in Trnava, Slovakia. The nominal press force is 400kN. This work is specialized on general partition and short description of blanking technology. It describes common blanking, fine blanking, tube cutting and bar cutting.
Production of parts for window fittings

This project submits a proposal for manufacturing technology of casement and frame window hardware base, made of 11343.23 steel 2,5 mm in thickness and with 15000 pieces annual production volume. The components form an integral part of a window hardware arrest mechanism. From potential variants of manufacturing, the technology of stamping and bending, with the use of a combined tool, was chosen. A bibliographic search examining these technologies was made and the machine LE 250 with nominal forming force 2 500kN was selected. The project comprises structural and technological calculations, including the combined tool design. In the economical part of the project, the product prices were quoted and the break-even point was determined. The break-even point is broken as soon as 13 046 pieces are manufactured.
Production of shower tray

The thesis deals with design of technology production of the shower tray made of austenitic steel 17 240. Based on the research of deep drawing and calculations, it was proposed to draw in the tool with upper blankholder and the lower ejector. The drawing tools uses standard components that ensure its functionality and clamping in the CYA 500 hydraulic press with nominal tensile force of 5000 kN. Drawing punch and die are made of 19 437.3 grade steel, heat treated according to the attached drawing documentation.
Galvanic zinc coating

This thesis is based on analysing and description of galvanic zinc coating, operations and technologies used in them. The first part contains an analysis of corrosion and is aimed on physical-chemical process which takes place on the surface of coated part. The thesis also emphasize the choice of technology for zing coating and in conclusion analyzes defections in galvanic zinc layer.
Roll bending technology

The paper deals with the research of sheet metal bending technology. This technology is suitable for producing both cylindrical and conical parts. First summarized technological and physical nature of the technology. Also important is the method of making cones using bending machines. Different types of machines are disassembled. From the smallest hand to the largest three-roll maschine. In the future, the two-cylinder machines are the most promising. They are especially suited to their variability and also because the component can be manufactured faster than any other machine.
