Utilisation of already deposited energy by-products in cement production
Lukášek, David ; Švec, Jiří (referee) ; Opravil, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses at study of deposited high-temperatured fly ash and its utilization in production of cement. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis deals with the production and division of cements. The individual advantages and disadvantages of high-temperature and fluid fly ash when added to cements are addressed. The theoretical knowledge was used to design subsequent experiments. The conclusion of the theoretical part of the work deals with pozzolans. The main content of the experimental part was the analysis of raw materials and subsequent analysis of the mechanical properties of the prepared mixtures. The experiments were designed in accordance with valid standards.
Altitmeter for RC aircraft models
Švec, Jan ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Prokopec, Jan (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor thesis is to design a altimeter, who uses to record the attitude of the model "RC plane" evaluation of the current atmospheric pressure. The data are storaged during the flight into memory. Data can be after the recording through the USB transferred to the PC store. The software on the PC communicates with the device and ensuring the conversion of recorded pressure to altitude RC model.
Proposal of Marketing Strategy
Soudek, Lukáš ; Švec, Jiří (referee) ; Němeček, Petr (advisor)
Subject of this thesis is the proposal of marketing strategy of the SUBFORM company. For thos purpose was chosen the SUBFORM company. This thesis includes theoretic piece of knowledge, company and market analysis. Using the data obtained by this analysis, I suggested the most suitable marketing strategy leading to affirming the company on this market.
The Feasibility Study of a New Company Creation
Švec, Jiří ; Chyťová, Monika (referee) ; Koráb, Vojtěch (advisor)
This masters’s thesis deals with a feasibility study of new company creation. The company would be active in the area of online ticket sales for small-time cultural events. Suggestions for a solution relating to the enterprise and enabling the company to optimally entry to the market are presented, based on theoretical knowledge, empirical facts and analysis.
Brick recycled as a raw material for the production of refractories for the brick industry
Fridrich, Jakub ; Švec, Jiří (referee) ; Opravil, Tomáš (advisor)
The focus of this thesis is the study of behavior of brick waste in the mixture with high alumina cement. The result of this research should be a draft of a composition and production process for material that could partly or fully substitute forging accessories in the brick production industry. The aim of this work is to verify the use of brick waste for such purpose. Usage of brick waste for refractories can help the current long-term effort for wasteless production processes.

The Proposal of Business Plan
Soudek, Lukáš ; Švec, Jiří (referee) ; Bayerová, Vladimíra (advisor)
The subject of this report is establishing a specialized retail shop in Brno. I hold forth on analysis of a market, competition and customers in this work. In the point of view from the following subjects I have created the marketing and financial plan which is very needful for this kind of business activity which I have chosen.
Unsupervised Adaptation of Speech Recognizer
Švec, Ján ; Karafiát, Martin (referee) ; Schwarz, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design and test techniques for unsupervised adaptation of speech recognizers on some audio data without any textual transcripts. A training set is prepared at first, and a baseline speech recognition system is trained. This sistem is used to transcribe some unseen data. We will experiment with an adaptation data selection process based on some speech transcript quality measurement. The system is re-trained on this new set than, and the accuracy is evaluated. Then we experiment with the amount of adaptation data.
Influence of fumed silica on the properties of ultra-high performace cement composite
Hrbáčová, Markéta ; Švec, Jiří (referee) ; Novotný, Radoslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the properties of concrete based on reactive powdered materials. Pyrogenic nanosilica (Aerosil 200, Aerosil 380) was added to the concrete in various volume ratios. The aim was to design and prepare a series of samples in order to determine their basic properties, and to determine the behavior of selected samples during penetration by a high-speed projectile compared to the reference sample. In order to determine the strength of the samples, compression and tensile bending tests were performed. The so-called multihit test was used to determine ballistic resistance. The differential effect factor was also determined experimentally and compared with the reference sample. An electron microscope was used to monitor the behavior of the fibers in the binder as well as the binder itself. Hydration curves for individual samples were generated using calorimetric measurements. The bulk density of the samples and the spills during their preparation were also monitored. The resulting strength of the nanosilica samples did not show higher values compared to the reference sample. The results of the multihit test did not show considerable changes compared to the reference composite.
The study of the refractory concrete binding system based on phosphoric acid and aluminous cement
Pavlík, Tomáš ; Švec, Jiří (referee) ; Šiler, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with refractory concrete binding system based on aluminous cement and phosphoric acid. The prepared refractory concretes were fired at 1 000 °C. Various effects on compressive strength of refractory concrete were studied. The influence of aluminous cement content and phosphoric acid content, the influence of various admixtures, the influence of plasticizers and the influence of time and method of sample storage were studied. Simultaneous thermogravimetry and differential thermal analysis of the basic unfired sample were performed. Finally, selected refractory concretes were fired at 110, 200, 400, 600, 800, 900, 1 000 and 1 100 °C. The compressive strength of these samples was measured and powder X ray diffraction analysis was performed. The compressive strength of refractory concretes under intermediate temperatures (800–1 100 °C) was most increased in samples with metakaolin and gray microsilica.
