Deformation Surveying of Railway Track
Suchánek, Zbyněk ; Bureš, Jiří (referee) ; Švábenský, Otakar (advisor)
The aim of this master thesis was to measure and evaluate shifts of rail strip and deck of the bridge in the 0,206 km route Zábřeh - Bludov across the river Moravská Sázava. The measurement was performed by classical geodetic methods. The result of the study was evaluation of the three periods of deformation measurements and numerical and graphical documentation. Shifts were caused especially by changes in temperature and operational effects.
Deformation Surveying of Bridge Abutment and Top of Earth Fill
Malota, Matěj ; Kuruc, Michal (referee) ; Švábenský, Otakar (advisor)
The subject of my bachelor´s thesis is shift observation of abutment and the top of earth fill at western side of the Ivančice viaduct. It is unstable due to complicatedhydro-geological conditions while merging the abutment and the adjacent, 23 metres high slope of embankment. In my thesisI am processing previous periods of GPS monitoring, which were measured since spring 2000 to autumn 2009, and also two of my own measured periods at spring 2012 and 2013.
GNSS Deformation Measurement of Railway Structure
Buday, Michal ; Bureš, Jiří (referee) ; Švábenský, Otakar (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate the train bridge shift using the satellite geodesy methods. Introductory part of the thesis is devoted to GNSS basis. The following part discribe work with commercial software Leica Geo Office. Results of calculations were transformed to local topocentric frame. In this frame were compared differencies between GNSS meassurment and classical terrestrial methods. Part of this thesis is to consider tropospheric refraction influence based on used tropospheric model. The end of this thesis is devoted to consider hypothesis that reference point which was considered as solid does not show trend of changing it's location. For this purpuse BERNESE GPS Software was used. GNSS meassurments were linked to the nearest points of permanent GNSS networks. Results are documented numerically and graphically.
Map of the Dratenická Cave Surroundings in Moravian Karst
Hanuš, Vojtěch ; Švábenský, Otakar (referee) ; Weigel, Josef (advisor)
The aims of my diploma thesis are the design of a map of Drátenická cave surroundings in the Moravian Karst in the 1:500 scale with details utilizable by speleologists and the examination of a map of 1945 depicting the region of Drátenická cave. The thesis includes an elaboration of the theoretical foundations relevant for the fulfillment of the aims and the descriptions of the geodetic and processing procedures. The outcome of the thesis is the planimetric and altimetric survey, a new digital map of the region and the final examination of planimetric and altimetric components of the map of 1945.
Precise repeated leveling measurements at Tetčice water reservoir
Čáp, Pavel ; Švábenský, Otakar (referee) ; Pospíšil, Lubomil (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the vertical movements of foundation soil in village Tetčice. In the first part describes geological structures and problems in locality. A next chapter deals with surveying vertical movements, measurements and evaluation. As addition is measurement actually groundwater level depending on the line levelling.
GPS measurements at the Tetčice polygon
Darmopilová, Jana ; Švábenský, Otakar (referee) ; Pospíšil, Lubomil (advisor)
This thesis deals with periodical measurements at the Tetčice polygon to confirm geological activity caused by geological shift that pass through the center of the village. This work was focused on the third phase of measurement by long static GNSS observation in summer 2013 to monitor horizontal shifts on both edges of Boskovice furrow. Points are stabilized on pillars with forced centring. Part of the thesis is summary of present results, the differences between the various stages and graphical representations of shifts. The theoretical part deals with the geological conditions in the area and description of GNSS technology.
Deformation Surveying of Railway Track
Štrba, Peter ; Weigel, Josef (referee) ; Švábenský, Otakar (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to specify the displacement and deformations of the railway tracks axis on bridge structures in cities of Zábřeh na Moravě and Břeclav. The bridge structures covered have great dilatation distances, therefore it is necessary to monitor the movements of the railway tracks depending on climatic conditions. GPS methods have been used throughout the whole measurement and data processing. The result includes also a comparison of GPS and conventional methods. The result of the thesis is a detection of proven displacements. One of the goals of the thesis is the comparison of the displacements and the accuracy using the method chosen by author of the thesis and using classical geodetic methods.
Undermining Influences on Mining Works Objects
Krčová, Michaela ; Weigel,, Josef (referee) ; Švábenský, Otakar (advisor)
The contet of this bachelor thesis is stabilization and geodetic observation of influences of mining the security pillar for desctruction of chimney “the G hole” - the Mine of Nováky by using the kinematic method GPS. Monitoring of the exhibition of a mining activities and analysis of deformations in undermined areas by making repeated positioning measures with web application and map devices WMS.
Geodetic Works During Reconstruction of Highway D1
Gunár, Peter ; Švábenský, Otakar (referee) ; Bureš, Jiří (advisor)
The main goal of the diploma thesis is the description of geodetic and construction activities and work processes dealing with reconstruction of the D1 highway surface in the section Rosice – Brno. The thesis is focused within the sphere of engineering geodesy and address the issue of creation of point field, stake-out, control measurement and the measurement of real building execution documents. Used survey procedures are analyzed in the context of the standard deviation listed in the project documentation or ČSN. The geotetic documentation is compiled for the chosen measured data.
30 Years ff Geodynamic Research in the Territory of Northern Moravia
Švábenský, Otakar ; Pospíšil, Lubomil ; Weigel, Josef
As part of the investigation of the geodynamics phenomena, the deployment of GNSS technology, which enables effective determination of the kinematic tendencies of the upper layer of the earth's lithosphere, represents an important contribution. The Institute of Geodesy of BUT in Brno, as the first university institute in the Czech Republic, could practically use this technology since 1992, and one of the first activities was involvement in geodynamic research on a national and international scale. It is significant that it was just during this period that a local research geodynamic network covering the Czech and Polish parts of the Králický Sněžník massif was built. It was the first project of this kind in the territory of Moravia, and our institute had the opportunity to actively participate in this project. Today, at the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Sněžník network, we can state its significant contribution to our scientific research and teaching activities. Since then, our activities in the field of GNSS geodynamic applications have expanded to the entire territory of Moravia, and later to the Czech Republic. A significant factor was the establishment of close 19 http://dx.doi.org/10.13164/seminargnss.2023.18 contacts with experts in other geoscience fields (geology, geomorphology, geotectonics, seismics, etc.), which made it possible to apply and present our results in a broader context of mutual cooperation. It has been confirmed that it is important to confront and integrate the results of geodetic measurements with all the relevant geoscientific knowledge that is currently available. This paper mainly deals with two topics. The first is a 30-year measurement period in the Sněžník network. The second is a description of our other activities focused on the investigation of geodynamic active areas of Moravia, especially its northern part. One of the significant results is the compilation of the initial kinematic model of the Moravian part of the Bohemian Massif and its continuous addition and refinement.
