Comparison of economic development of Visegrad group countries since 2000

The main goal of this Bachelor's Thesis is to compare the enonomic development of the countries from Visegrad group (Czech republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia) since 2000. This thesis is devided into two parts- theoretical part and analytical part. In the theoretical part are the major macroeconomic indicators (gross domestic product, inflation, unemploynment) which are also used in the analytical part. The analytical part is devided into three chapters according to the indicators and every chapter of indicator is also devided according to the country. The summary and the evaluation is in the conclusion of this thesis.

The thesis entitled "Barter (selected problems)" introduces barter clubs/LETS as an alternative economy. The thesis describes historical development of barter clubs/LETS, theoretically analyzes the barter clubs/LETS as full-fledged payment systems standing on an equal footing as any other form of market organization. Project of the thesis also includes results of a survey which approached individuals as well as legal entities operating in the Czech Republic.

Řešení projektu bylo rozděleno do šesti dílčích modulů. V rámci prvního bylo přikročeno k ujasnění používaných pojmů a ke zpracování přehledu přístupů k hodnocení efektivnosti veřejných výdajů na ochranu životního prostředí v zahraničí a mezinárodních institucích. Druhý modul se zaměřil na popis a analýzu současného stavu v této oblasti v ČR. V rámci třetího modulu byla vytvořena obecná metodika, která byla v následujícím modulu podrobena testování ve formě případových studií. Pátý modul se zaměřil na hodnocení efektivnosti veřejných výdajů na ochranu životního prostředí ve vybraném regionu. Závěrečný, šestý modul, pak představoval syntézu získaných poznatků a vyvození patřičných politicko-hospodářských doporučení. Hlavním výstupem projektu je návrh obecné metodiky hodnocení efektivnosti veřejných výdajů, která je koncipována jako sada otázek, a kterou lze, při její obecné aplikaci na všechny existující i budoucí veřejné výdajové programy, používat s dílčími omezeními jak pro účely ex-post, tak i ex-ante evaluací.

International migration of qualified labor resources; Experiences of Georgia and Czech Republic

In this dissertation thesis is analyzed the emigration problem of qualified labor resources from chosen countries. And on behalf of the Czech Republic successful experience analyze, in migration management of qualified workers, was generated the recommendations to Georgian government for in time solving of problematic situation in country. The authors own research held in Czech Republic and in Georgia, underlined the factors influencing migration process from Georgia and brought his constructive approach in "brain drain" problem solution and in supporting process of "brain gain". But thesis alsoshows that not every successful experience could be useful for Georgian case. Given thesis is unique by his way of deep research of "brain drain" problem from Georgia and by setting order of solution priorities.
Aplikace princípů teorie her v oligopolním prostředí

The goals of the master thesis are describing the strategic oligopoly environment of chosen industry of Czech telecommunications, together with introducing basic game theory principles with their possible real case application. It mentions historical shifts in Czech telecommunications sector which influence the actual industry conditions. The thesis briefly describes the individual players in the market and turns its attention towards the industry characterization through standard oligopoly models. Following, it introduces theoretical insight on possible market entry strategies into oligopoly industries. The application part focuses on game-theory in pricing strategies, market entry and entry deterring scenarios with examples. Final part summarizes the objectives in detail and provides final comments on the thesis.
Analysis and Evaluation of Experience from International Development Co-operation MPO

Diploma thesis describes the transformation of Czech foreign development cooperation, appreciation of different views on ways to provide foreign aid in recent years and the change in status of the Ministry of Industry and trade in the Czech Development Agency, and as major players in the overall system. Based on the experience of the different actors of the cycle of foreign development cooperation shall aim to draw conclusions pointing to weaknesses in the existing system and recommend possible directions for the continuation of international cooperation in the coming years.
Experience of the Private Sector with Outsourcing in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis tries to give an overview of the outsourcing questions. The aim of the work is primarily to gain insight into the experience of the private sector with the outsourcing in the Czech Republic, and describe the methods of evaluation of the outsourcing effectiveness, which serve as a basis for deciding on the use of outsourcing in enterprises. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the basic concepts and importance of outsourcing, opportunities and risks of outsourcing and the reasons for the use of this tool. To gain practical experience of Czech firms with the outsourcing there have been made the research by means of the questionnaires. Obtained and processed data are listed in the practical part of this work. The experience with outsourcing abroad are described as a comprehensive knowledge of experts dealing with the issue of outsourcing. The part of the work is a comparison of the experience of the private sector with the outsourcing in the Czech Republic and abroad. At the conclusion of the work there is a summary of the most important observed results of this research and knowledge.

The studies deal with analysis of household indebtedness evolution. There is examined causes and consequences of development of debt. Work describes evolution of household indebtedness in banking and non-banking institution. It evaluates influencing factors of household debt. It provides comparison of indebtedness Czech households compared with households of EU countries.
Fiscalisation of expenses of financial crises

The main goal of this thesis is to describe and analyse methods, which were used by countries affected by the Asian financial crisis to resolve related problems and also analyse how these solutions affected public debt. For this purpose I chose three Asian countries, Thailand, Indonesia and South Korea. These countries have one in common, their governments decided to establish Asset Management company to resolve problems of bank sector. This thesis describes how they were successful in their aspirations and fallout of financial crises on choosen countries.
