Physical activity in patients with MS: Effect of coronavirus pandemic on physical activity and rehabilitation

The bachelor thesis deals with the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic on patients with multiple sclerosis, mainly focusing on the impact on their physical activity. The aim of the thesis is to investigate whether and how people with MS changed their physical activity during the epidemic. Furthermore, it was investigated whether the choice of activity and the intensity and frequency of activity changed. A part of the questions dealt with the fears of the disease Covid-19. The theoretical part summarizes the basic knowledge about the diagnosis, and more focuses on the rehabilitation and physical activity of the patients. The practical part deals with the results obtained through the questionnaire survey. The questionnaire was carried out within the framework of an international study sponsored by the international professional society RIMS (Rehabilitation In Multiple Sclerosis). Several European countries, including the Czech Republic, participated in the study. Due to the epidemic, the questionnaire was distributed online and responses were collected from December 2020 to June 2021. The research sample consisted of 265 people. Ice Hockey Injuries in the Professional Ice Hockey Leagues in Czech Republic

Title: Ice Hockey Injuries in the Professional Ice Hockey leagues in Czech Republic Objective: The aim of this thesis is to investigate the incidence, types, severity and mechanisms of injury in Czech ice hockey players at the highest competition level during the season 2010/2011. Methods: Data were collected by the non-standardized six-side questionnair from 11 teams in the highest ice hockey league in Czech Republic for season 2010/2011. Findings: There were a total of 559 injuries, 18,4% injuries occured during praktice, 75% during games. The overall game injury rate was 57,4 per 1000 games. The most common injury was laceration in the face. Collision with an oponent, with the boards or fall on ice caused nearly 38% of injuries. As for severity, 45,1% injuries were classified as minor and 14,3% as major injuries. Of the 419 game injuries, 65,2 % occured in forwards, 28,1% in defensemen and 6,7% in goalkeepers. Cílem této diplomové práce je představit literaturu Dálného východu' z hlediska možnosti jejího využití při výuce vzdělávacího oboru český jazyk a literatura na gymnáziích. Povaha této práce je tedy didaktická, neaspiruje na literáměhistorické pojetí této rozsáhlé oblasti literatury. Možnost pracovat se studenty gymnázií s texty, které patří z pohledu evropského čtenářského publika do velmi vzdálené oblasti světové literatury, zamýšlím demonstrovat na osmi ukázkových lekcích, z nichž tři budou obohaceny o konkrétní reakce studentů. Carbon Capture and Storage Technology in Energy Industry

Given the growing worldwide interest in fossil fuels on one hand and mitigation of climate change on the other hand, it is necessary to research into new technologies as Carbon Capture and Storage. This technology became a matter of interest as an option to diminish greenhouse gas emissions of power plants. It is essential to find out about the costs of Carbon Capture and Storage and expected future costs of power plants with CCS. Impact of this techology is not only in the sphere of capital and operational costs, but it also influences power plant efficiency and fuel consumption in negative way. Analysis of reductions in the costs of this technology as a result of learning-by-doing is observed on Experience Curves. This study observes influence of CCS on costs of mainly PC, IGCC and NGCC type of power plant. CCS technology has positive impact not only on environment, but it is possible to assess Enhanced Oil, Methane or Gas Recovery, which can partly offset costs of this technology.

Hospodaření s vodou: efektivnost využití vody z povrchového odtoku

Práce je zaměřena na využívání alternativních zdrojů vody pro domácnost k pitné vodě. Uvádí vývoj spotřeby pitné vody v kontextu ceny vodného a stočného. Uvádím zde argumenty pro nahrazování pitné vody v domácnosti- vzácnost vody, cena vodného a stočného, dlouhý transport vody, energická a technická náročnost úpravy, četné havárie trubních sítí. Dále uvádím postupy výpočtu a dimenzování zařízení na zadržování srážkové vody. Pro konkrétní příklad rodinného domu v Praze je zde provedena finanční analýza návratnosti investice do zařízení na zadržování srážkové vody.
