This bachelor thesis is focused on the use of information systems in offices of general practitioners. An introductory section contains a legislation analysis, shows results raised from consultations with a general practitioner, describes the current state of IS/ICT solutions in this field, including general assumptions related to usage of information systems. A main part of the thesis is dedicated to the design of the IS/ICT solution in form of functionality covering the most important administrative activities and its subsequent verification. The thesis primarily focuses on activities which, according to legislation, include archiving or notification requirements. The benefit of the thesis lies in the author's design of custom IS/ICT solution, as well as a summarization of available resources and personal experience of general practitioners.
