Application of distributed and stochastic algorithms in network.
Yarmolskyy, Oleksandr ; Kenyeres, Martin (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the distributed and stochastic algorithms, including testing their convergence in networks. The theoretical part briefly describes above mentioned algorithms, including their division, problems, advantages and disadvantages. Futhermore, two distributed algorithms and two stochastic algorithms are chosen. The practical part is done by comparing the speed of convergence on various network topologies in MATLAB.
Design and implementation of interactive graphical interface for IVR
Konečný, Jakub ; Polívka, Michal (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on development of graphical user interface for managing IVR applications. The work is more software oriented, it analyzes current state of the iPBX product belonging to the IPEX a.s. company, describes used technologies and introduces new concept of interactive user interface for generating IVR diagrams together with Asterisk dial plan generator.
Devices Monitoring in Computer Networks
Kutaj, Matej ; Musil, Petr (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the supervision of computer networks and related technologies. The bachelor thesis describes individual technologies, topology of supervised network, list of Vlan networks, description of Zabbix system, its implementation in Hyper-V and setting of individual network adapters, description of error solving by creating script and then creating all elements using web interface. The results are created by maps of individual monitored networks and created graphs from priority switches.
Innovative Routing Protocols
Rouča, Tomáš ; Endrle, Pavel (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to get acquainted with the technology of routing data in a computer network. Thesis described in the theoretical level properties of current and past routing protocols and their use in information systems. Based on the acquired knowledge was created a simulation model of network communication in programming environment OPNET Modeler. This model analyzes the received parameters of the current protocols and their subsequent implementation in the real transmission technology using operating system Debian Linux. Finally, the transfer parameters are discussed between the simulation model and real transfer technology.
Design of laboratory set "Synchronous Digital Hierarchy"
Hanzal, Jan ; Polívka, Michal (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
The aim of my project was introduction with pulse code modulation and synchronous digital hierarchy. Obtained knowledge used with PCM30U device and Marconi's SDH device. These devices are currently new in our lab. Practical part consists of connect devices in to functional state. System PCM30U is using as the input unit of SDH ring. Functionality of connection verify.
IoT WiFi soil moisture and temperature sensor
Kostelanská, Alžbeta ; Zeman, Václav (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
Bachelor thesis addresses the subject of IoT WiFi soil moisture sensor and temperature sensor based on ESP32 platform. The primary focus of the design is on low power consumption of the device and secure communication. The theoretical part of the thesis describes selected types of sensors which can be used for the designed device. The ESP32 module and some of its features are also introduced. Lastly selected communication protocols which are suitable for IoT applications and can be used with WiFi peripheral are discussed. The practical part of the bachelor thesis deals with hardware design of the sensor device and implementation of this design. Low power consumption is implemented in hardware and in software solution. The focus is on independence of the device and secure communication and data protection. Lastly the concept of webserver used for storing and processing collected data on RaspberryPi platform and concept of sending the measured data to the end-user are introduced.
Monitoring module for software applications
Partnov, Denys ; Škorpil, Vladislav (referee) ; Oujezský, Václav (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with the design and implementation of solution for monitoring and controlling applications running in the Linux operating system or using the Docker platform. The implemented solution consists of agents in the Kotlin programming language using the Spring framework, which is responsible for controlling and monitoring the application. Another part of the solution is the Flask application in Python, which offers a web interface for representing monitoring results and the possibility of controlling running processes. Communication between the agents and the web interface is ensured using an API that is appropriately secured. The implemented solution was tested in real production environment and its functionality was proven.

SVM Algorithm Training for DDoS on SDN Networks
Murtadha ; Shujairiand ; Škorpil, Vladislav
Despite the flexibility provided by SDN technology is also vulnerable to attacks such as DDoS attacks, Network DDoS attack is a serious threat to the Internet today because internet traffic is increasing day by day, it is difficult to distinguish between legitimate and malicious traffic. To alleviate the DDoS attack in the campus network, to mitigate this attack, propose in this paper to classify benign traffic from DDoS attack traffic by SVM of the classification algorithms based on machine learning. As the contribution of this paper is to train the SVM algorithmwhich has been used in the approach for the training process. Due to the complexity of the dataset, using a type of kernel called a polynomial kernel to accomplish non-linearity discriminative. The results showed that the traffic classification was with the highest accuracy 96 %.
Android mobile application security
Michálek, Jakub ; Škorpil, Vladislav (referee) ; Oujezský, Václav (advisor)
The thesis's objectives are to introduce a computing platform for Android mobile devices and its security risks for the average user. The application that was created presents these risks on practical examples. The first part of the diploma thesis introduces the Android operating system, its architecture, version, and basic components. Security risks of this operating system are described in a second part. The following section is devoted to Android permission and the danger which can arise from their authorization. The final section of the work delves into design and implementation of the application from the programming point of view.
