Development of process parameters for the stereolithography
Vítek, Jan ; Škaroupka, David (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the search for optimal process parameters to reach a high strength of the Detax Solflex model material, with the DLP (digital light processing) 3D Solflex 650 printer. In the first part of this thesis the principle of printing using a laser and using a DLP projector and their comparison are presented. Further information about materials and impact of the process parameters on a printing are discussed. Based on a knowledge two assumptions were set: influence of exposure time and influence of layer thickness on strength. Firstly, samples were tested by the hardness Shore D test and the results from the test were compared. New samples for the stress test with the optimal set of parameters given by the previous test were printed and tested. Process parameters influence on strength was determined from the achieved results.
3D Lattice Structures for Application in Selective Laser Melting technology
Červinek, Ondřej ; Škaroupka, David (referee) ; Vrána, Radek (advisor)
Additive technologies allow manufacturing of components with very complex shapes which are difficult to manufacture with conventional technologies. Among these technologies belongs the Selective Laser Melting (SLM). Suitable applications of SLM include manufacturing of light-weight 3D structures like lattice structure or an organic geometry called gyroid. This bachelor thesis is focused on creation of models of gyroid structure and its application to parts followed by manufacturing with SLM. Series of models were made with mathematical software. Implicitly defined equation were used for better geometry coordination of created models. Options utilization and manufacturability of gyroid structures were tested within application into turbocharger impeller. At the end of this thesis was successfully manufactured the impeller including two types of gyroid structure (single-gyroid and double-gyroid)
Design of the autonomous snow groomer
Vespalec, Arnošt ; Surman, Martin (referee) ; Škaroupka, David (advisor)
The subject of this master’s thesis is the design of an autonomous snow groomer intended for the treatment of well-geodetically mapped slopes of ski resorts. Designed design uses an innovative approach to detecting the thickness of a snow cover by an electromagnetic sensor system. The work identifies and presents the concept of solving specific problems of autonomous operation in ski areas, in the form of a design vision. This concept is presented and verified using a parametric model.
System of large-scale 3D printing of products from bar structures
Vašátko, Marek ; Němeček, Stanislav (referee) ; Škaroupka, David (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of a system for the production of lattice spatial structures from polymer materials printed by a robotic arm. The aim of the thesis is to design a suitable manufacturing system in general and to experimentally verify the production of products on the current form of the system. Using compression tests to determine the load carrying capacity of the fabricated lattice structures and compare it with a computational model of the ideal geometry. In general, the parts of the manufacturing system were designed and experimental measurements of compression tests on fabricated specimen structures were carried out. The first results of compression tests of such fabricated structures for two cell topologies were obtained. The accuracy between the experiments and the computational model is comparable to the results in the current literature. Better results were obtained in the areas of repeatability of the obtained load values. The system is a combination of HW and SW solutions providing 3D printing of large-scale lattice structures for large volume parts and represents an incremental improvement of partial properties.
Design of a porcelain set for additive manufacturing
Vítek, Jan ; Haltof, Vladimír (referee) ; Škaroupka, David (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a set of porcelain coffee cups. The principles of parameterization are used in the design, as well as an innovative way of creating decor using generative algorithms. The thesis examines the possibility of using additive technologies in the production of porcelain products, both in the production of molds and in the direct production by SLA technology. It also includes the development of material for 3D printing from porcelain and finding suitable process parameters for printing.
Design of the electrochemical detector for detection of heavy metals
Sedláková, Jana ; Jelenčík, Branislav (referee) ; Škaroupka, David (advisor)
The topic of this master’s thesis is design of detector for electrochemical detection of heavy metals. Design meets the technical, aesthetic and ergonomic requirements and is developed in collaboration with other members of the research team involved in the grant project TACR named DETEKO TH01030389.
Design of the hammer set
Král, Ondřej ; Haltof, Vladimír (referee) ; Škaroupka, David (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on the design of a product family of hammers by the means of generative design. The core of this thesis is the creation of an algorithm which will generate hammers of unified visual style, but varying properties based on input parameters. It is necessary that these hammers are in shape, ergonomics and dimensions adequate to preferences of the target group of professional workers and that they are producible in series and from commonly used materials. The output is a set of three hammers with different mass and dimensional properties.
Design of sports craft.
Škaroupka, David ; Karásek, David (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
This diploma theses is concerned with the meaning of sport sailing and sailing in general. This draft develops a small craft conception with regart to the characteristics of the machines in the future, where control systems will actively participate with checking operations and facilitate not only running complex unstable systems but above all, smooth processes operated by man. The designed sports craft is intended for three actively living passengers with positive relations to high adrenalin activities who long for a very near contact with the nature.
The influence of the parameters of stereolithographic 3D printing on the printing time
Kůst, Martin ; Škaroupka, David (referee) ; Zatočilová, Aneta (advisor)
This paper deals with stereolithographic 3D printing (SLA). It describes both upper and lower lighting design and shows the differences between laser light and DLP (Digital Light Processing) projector. Another part is to find the dependence between the time of exposure and the thickness of the layer also known as material profile on the DETAX, gray. So another work and further experiments can be done using this material. These experiments are performed on Way2production's SolFlex650 SLA printer. For ease of use with this printer, parameters affecting print time have been identified and a model is then found to calculate the total print time.
Surface finishing of plastic parts
Ševčík, Igor ; Škaroupka, David (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor’s thesis is processing of theme surface finishing of plastic parts, specifically products of 3D printing made of Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), and consequent experimental execution of chosen methods. The thesis includes analysis of current knowledge, description of various procedures and possibilities of surface properties modification. The aim of treatment is to allow further processing of plastic objects, such as metal coating. Experiment accomplish-ments are listed and the effect of surface treatment is evaluated afterwards.
