Apartment building

The subject of the bachelor´s thesis is to elaborate the project documentation of the newbuilt apartment building in Přímětice(Znojmo) The apartment building is designed as the five-storey partly basement building. In the above ground floors there are 25 apartments and the technical backgroud of the building. In the basement there is the collective garage with 12 parking spots. The foundations are solved as the monolithic strips from the reinforced concrete under the nonbasement part of the building and as the foudation plates from a reinforced waterproof concrete under the basement part. The vertical load-bearing and nonload-bearing constructions are made of the Porotherm system with combination from the reinforced concrete columns. Just the basement is made of the reinforced waterproof concrete and together with the foundation plates form so-called white bath. The horizontal load-bearing stuctures consist of reinforced concrete ceiling slabs. The roofing of the building is designed as the flat one-layer roof which serves as terraces in fifth floor. The bachelor´s thesis contains project documentation for the construction and it has been made in ArchiCAD 22 and Lumion 10.
Retirement home

The subject of the master project is the project documentation of a retirement home in Předín. The building is designed as a three-storey. There are 8 single bedrooms and 12 double bedrooms; double bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom and the two single bedrooms have a shared bathroom. The foundations are designed as část-in-place concrete strips. Vertical load-bearing and non-bearing structures are designed of ceramic blocks; only the structure of the elevator shaft is made of reinforced concrete. The horizontal load-bearing structures are made of reinforced concrete floor slabs. The roof of the building is designed as a warm flat roof covered with a layer of aggregate. Heating and water heating is provided by a cascaded pair of ground/water heat pumps and solar thermal collectors. Ventilation in the building is provided by air conditioning with heat recovery. Ventilation is divided into the community area and a living area. There is an accumulation and use of rainwater for irrigation of the green facade and flushing the toilet in the building. The project also deals with comparison of heat pumps for heating, water heating and cooling compared to gas boilers or biomass boilers for heating and water heating and air conditioning units for cooling the building. The diploma thesis contains project documentation for building permits and was designed in ArchiCAD 22, DEKSOFT and Lumion 10.
