A Comparative Study of Sa'adi Shirazi's View of Education and Albert Bandura's Social Learning Theory

The present study examines works of Sa'adi, who renowned Iranian scholars consider to be almost the first teacher in his time, 700 years ago. He taught moral and educational lessons to all Iranian families as a social reformer. He is also considered one of the greatest educational poets of Iran. For a long time, Sa'adi's books were taught in schools before schools came into their present form. The aim of this study is to compare learning theories in two works of Sa'adi, Bustan and Golistan, and the Environmentalist, Albert Bandura's theory of learning. The method of content analysis of Sa'adi's works is utilized to investigate his theories about education, child nature, stages of education, manner of education, purpose of education, child-centeredness, importance of the teacher, teaching method, motivation inheritance and the role of punishment and encouragement in behavior and learning. The findings show that both Sa'adi and Bandura believed in the effect of social environment and observing in learning and behavior, while Bandura advocates the cognitive factors, Sa'adi favors heritage. Vocational education in the context of career preferences during the Covid pandemia and in the previous period.

The diploma thesis on the topic of vocational education in the context of career preferences during the Covid pandemic and in the previous period deals in the first part with the specification of the concept of vocational education and then describes the development of vocational education in the Czech Republic. The current state of vocational education with opportunities in the educational path of students is mentioned here. The work is further focused on the socio-psychological concept in the choice of profession for students. The factors and actors who enter the choice of profession are listed. The empirical part of the work addresses the preferences in the choice of profession in the reflection of the Covid period. Changing preferences of students entering the labor market are identified. The diploma thesis verifies the assumptions about the change of preferences when choosing a profession and these are determined on the basis of a questionnaire method. Questionnaires were sent to students of secondary vocational schools in the Karlovy Vary region. Perceptions of students' preferences in choosing a profession were also ascertained among secondary vocational school teachers in the same region. Bases of establishing and maintaing authority in education from the perspective of student teachers in the international context

The dissertation thesis deals with bases of establishing and maintaining authority in education from the perspective of student teachers in the international context. The thesis is divided into six chapters, the first three of which lay down its theoretical groundwork. In the first chapter the term authority is defined both generally and from the point of view of education, then it is classified and categorized, which is followed by an outline of possible dilemmas authority may cause in education. The second chapter charts both internal and external determinants of establishing and maintaining authority in education, i.e. it deals with the influence of teacher's personality and expertise, pupil, interaction of a teacher and a pupil, official pedagogical documents, as well as social and cultural factors. The theoretical part is concluded by the review of the contemporary research of authority in education. The fourth chapter presents the research question and characterizes bases of the selected research methodology - grounded theory. Avec le grand développement des technologies diverses, notamment celle des ordinateurs dans le monde entier, une nécessité de donner des noms et des termes aux nouveaux objets et réalités est apparue, touchant toutes les langues, y compris le russe. La tâche de ce mémoire est d'étudier le lexique informatique de la langue russe. Vu que la plupart de ce lexique est composée des néologismes, dont une grande partie est empruntée à la langue anglaise, nous allons analyser plus profondément ces néologismes et les termes en russe, empruntés aux autres langues, enfin le processus lui-même d'emprunt de nouveaux mots à l'anglais. Notre but est non seulement de caractériser, dans une partie théorique du mémoire, la terminologie et le jargon informatiques, mais aussi de créer un petit dictionnaire russetchèque des expressions principales, liées à l'ordinateur et à l'internet. C'est un résultat du fait que l'auteur n'a pas trouvé de dictionnaire où il se trouvraient les termes en russe, ses équivalents de jargon et les traductions des termes russes en tchèque, alors il a décidé de faire un dictionnaire lui- même.
