Data Backup and Data Storrages
Šulc, Ondřej ; Kratochvíl, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the design of the backup system for elementary school Humpolec, Hradská 894. Introduction deals with the theoretical knowledge of the subject. The following section analyzes the current status of the backup system, including the information about the network system. The third section contains my own solutions, suitable for this school, based on findings in the analytical part.
Camera Recording Management System
Šulc, Ondřej ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a network security system focusing on compatibility with the widest possible group of IP cameras from various manufacturers and support for remote access to records even from places outside the local network. This problem is solved using two closely cooperating applications. The first application runs on a device in the local network (in our case miniPC Raspberry Pi). The application creates the records by receiving and storing RTSP transmissions from individual cameras. It then modifies these records into a form usable for display on websites and sends the second application from which the user can access them. This application is referred to in the text as agent or agent application. The second application has a web user interface and serves the end user as a tool to manage agents, IP cameras and captured records. By principle of the application, it is important for it to be accessible on a publicly available domain. This application is referred to in the text as web or web application. The use of this architecture does not violate any of the network communication standards, which include, in particular, the initialization of communication from the network behind the NAT service.
The Application of Fuzzy Logic for Evaluation of Quality of Customers
Šulc, Ondřej ; Vítek, Pavel (referee) ; Dostál, Petr (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the application of fuzzy logic for evaluating the quality of customers in company PPL CZ s.r.o. For evaluation was used Microsoft Excel and MathWorks MATLAB. There are going to be created models using fuzzy logic. The introductory part is devoted to the theoretical bases that are necessary to understand the whole issue. The second part includes information about the company and analyzes of the current situation. Finally, the last part presents fuzzy models used to evaluation of existing customers.
Optimization of KPI Processing
Šulc, Ondřej ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the optimization of data processing from IoT sensors of smart cities into the form of key performance indicators (abbr. KPI). KPIs are a mean of monitoring a large amount of data and expressing the status of performance factors affecting the prosperity of the entire city. Data processing in this form is a computationally demanding process, but it consists of a large number of mutually independent calculations. Therefore the goal of this thesis was to perform optimization using parallelization. In parallel processing, calculations can be divided between multiple threads, enabling all available computing resources (CPU cores) to be fully used. This concept was practically implemented in the Smart City project of Logimic company. However, the project is built on the Node.js platform, and when using parallelization there are complications with the use of libraries for object-relational mapping (abbr. ORM). ORM libraries on the Node.js platform are not always ready to work in a parallel environment. This problem is solved by creating a separate instance of the used library for each parallel thread. The thesis focuses on reducing the overhead associated with this and also on the correct distribution of work between parallel threads so that all cores are used equally. The results of this work prove that optimizing IoT data processing using parallelization leads to a significant speedup that conforms to Amdahl's law, as overhead problems can be reduced to a negligible minimum.
Perfomance in Athletic Disciplines in Relation to Educational Concepts
Šulc, Ondřej ; Hájková, Jana (advisor) ; Vojtíková, Lenka (referee)
1 Annotation: The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of performance in athletic disciplines in relation to educational concepts. The data set was obtained from long-term records of children's performance for a selected school and was further processed and evaluated. An interview with a teacher who manages documents also makes a significant contribution to the interpretation of the results of the work itself. The research sample in question consists of male probands attending the 2nd grade at Glowackého Primary School between 1987 - 2019. Key words: performance, athletics, didactics, history, educational concepts, elementary school, pupil

Attitude and motivation of paramedics and medical drivers of vehicles in emergency medical service to continuing professional education
ŠULC, Ondřej
The aim of the study is to determine present attitude and motivation of paramedics and ambulance drivers to the continuing education. The purpose of the research is to clarify how could be possible to recieve better motivation in this field. In the beginning of thesis are described terms as motivation, attitude, education, paramedics or ambulance drivers. Present attitude of persons in emergency medical services is measured in empirical part of study. There are discovered the reasons why employees are not motivated to the next education and is shown how to improve this statement. As research tool was used semi-structured interview. Than results were analyzed and described. Participants of research were employess of one ambulance in Vysočina. Results can help to see level of motivation these participants to the continuing education as well as employers can see that is necessary to improve situation on ambulance area. Diversity of participants´ motivation is confirmed. The most important positive motive is money, as negative (for example) many lessons without practical parts.
