Author: Mgr. Roman Juřík Title: The effect of modifications in resistance training parameters on blood pressure values during and after the training session. Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the acute effect of various forms of agonist- antagonist paired set and agonist resistance training on selected cardiovascular parameters in individuals with normal blood pressure and stage I hypertension. Methods: This research was conducted as a single-blind, controlled study. Based on a systematic literature search, specialized resistance and aerobic training sessions were designed. The program lasted four weeks and included a familiarization phase lasting one week. Prior to the cross-sectional study, anthropometric measurements, biochemical sample collection, muscle strength and fitness testing, and subjective assessment of training intensity using the Borg Scale were conducted. The study consisted of four different resistance training sessions and one aerobic session. Resistance training were categorized into two basic methods: agonist- antagonist paired set and traditional (agonist) training, as well as based on targeted muscle groups (upper and lower body). Training variables were defined as follows: resistance load at 75 % of 1RM, rest interval between exercises and sets of 90 seconds, 3...

Title: The effect of different kinds of instant fascial release techniques for improvement of range of motion and muscle stiffness Objectives: This research aims to critically evaluate the effectiveness of immediate fascial release techniques such as tissue flossing (TF) and foam rolling (FR), on range of motion (ROM), viscoelastic properties of the muscle, dynamic stabilization and jump performance among athletes and fitness enthusiasts. Methodology: Cross-over design of the study, where all participants underwent three types of conditioning: tissue flossing, foam rolling or control. The study used a comprehensive methodology that included an active knee extension test, a Y-balance test, jump performance was measured using force plates and viscoelastic properties of Biceps Femoris (BF), Rectus Femoris (RF) and Vastus Lateralis (VL) of both legs were used to assess the impact of TF and FR conditionings. Participants were measured before conditioning and respectively in 2nd and 15th minute after conditioning activity. Two-way repeated measures ANOVA was used to evaluate the data. Results: Tissue flossing and foam rolling significantly improved ROM in both legs when compared to the control group, however no significant differences occurred between any of the conditions. Jump height experienced a...

Title: The objectivization of evaluation of the dynamics of self-defense instruments Introduction: Strikes by the upper limb are key tools for the self-defense system. So far, mechanical properties have not been evaluated for a wider group of strikes without protective equipment with applications in training, injury risk assessment, forensic biomechanics and medical law. Objectives: The aim of this work is to compile and objectify the evaluation of the dynamics of a wider group of strikes by the upper limb by specifying the size of the contact area and describing the damping properties of the foam of the detection apparatus. The aim is to evaluate the impact force, the probability of exceeding the bone tissue fracture threshold, the impulse, the size of the impact surfaces and the pressure for three impact techniques, both sexes and two experience levels. Methods: The work consists of three projects. Two quasi-experiments were completed by 169 probands, men and women, experience levels beginner, advanced (n = 169, height 177.8±9.0; weight 81.6±17.8; age 27.3±8.1) within one period. Probands were measured on two devices (Kistler, Podokam), where the time, impact force of the blow was recorded and three segments of the upper limb were photographed. Probands performed 3 striking techniques, a total of...

Design of mobile robot actuated element for elevator control
Štastný, Petr ; Podolinský, Ondřej (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of an actuator for a mobile robot, which enables the elevator control element to be switched. After researching available actuators, a type that meets the requirements is selected. An end-effector suitable for this task is designed. Subsequently, a module for locating the position of ArUco markers in the camera image is presented. The entire system is implemented in the ROS framework. The proposed solution is tested for repeatable accuracy, which verifies the functionality of individual modules and the entire solution. The result is an actuator mechanical structure with con- trol from ROS, which enables the elevator control element to be switched.

Author: Vojtech Hedbavny Title: The effect of individual training in specialized goalie skating and skills on the speed of performing shuffle, T-push and slide in youth categories. Objectives: The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to test ice hockey goaltenders in the speed of their T-push, shuffle, and slide movements by creating a testing battery and training program, and subsequently comparing their results over a period of two months. Another objective is to determine whether the goaltender's age has an influence on the extent of the time change in the test. Methods: The research was conducted by testing nineteen ice hockey goalkeepers aged between eight and nineteen years. The entire experiment lasted for nine weeks during the competitive season. At the beginning of the first week, the initial testing took place, and at the end of the last week, the final testing occurred. Training stimulation took place during the nine weeks between the tests. Empirical quantitative research in the form of test measurements was used to gather data. For comparing the results in individual tests and illustrating the relationship between age and the rate of change over time in the test, I utilized a table, Spearman's correlation coefficient, and a box plot graph in Microsoft Excel. Results: Improvement was...

Author: Bc. Petra Harasimová Thesis supervisor: Mgr. Vladimír Hojka, Ph.D. Expert consultant: PhDr. Jitka Malá, Ph.D. Mgr. Dominik Kolinger Title: Immediate effect of posterior chain facilitation using foam rolling on reactive strength performance. Objectives: The main aim of this study is to determine whether the inclination of the trunk towards the vertical changes after foam roller facilitation, whether the magnitude of the jump increases or whether the contact time during reactive force performance is reduced. Methods: In this thesis an experiment in the form of a randomized crossover study was used. Fifteen active female athletes with the problem of physiological maintenance of trunk position during running participated in the measurement. Subjects performed repeated snatch jumps over hurdles 57-68 cm in height. For the skip jumps, we measured jump height and support time using an Optojump (Microgate, Bolzano, Italy) and maximal trunk tilt using a video camera (GoPro HERO 9). After the warm-up, probands completed two measurements (pre-test) within 2 minutes. Then, the intervention group of probands performed foam rolling facilitation - m. triceps surae, mm. hamstrings, m. gluteus maximus, m. erector trunci; for each muscle group for 30 s, with a frequency of 1.5 Hz; the control group had rest...

Title: Sports training of national Para ice hockey team players in the Czech Republic Results: Using theoretical knowledge, questionnaire survey and based on interviews with the coach of the para hockey team of the Czech Republic, to describe the current level of sports preparation of para hockey players in the Czech Republic. The sub-goal was to design suitable exercises on and off the ice. Method: Within the theoretical part, a method of literature research was chosen to present basic information about para hockey and its training in the Czech Republic. The research was conceived as mixed. The methods of data collection were a questionnaire and a semi-structured interview. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data. In the case of open questions and interview analysis, the method of creating clusters was used. Results: Training units are insufficient in terms of complexity, lacking, for example, a focus on endurance and training of game skills. Hockey clubs lack a sufficient number of off-ice training units, there is no recovery and rest plan, and very little emphasis is placed on compensatory training. The absence of individual training is also problematic. Training in the season focuses mainly on shooting and passing practice. There is a lack of training of other important techniques,...
