Name of bachelor's thesis: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with diagnosis of cervicobrachial syndrome Summary: This thesis deals with processing of case reports of the patient with diagnosis of cervicobrachial syndrome, further specified as cervicobrachial syndrome with root irritation. The bachelor's thesis is dividend into general and special part. The general part of this thesis includes informations about the cervicobrachil syndrome, the cervical root syndromes, the treatment and physiotherapeutic methods. Special part of this thesis contains detailed case study of patient with cervicobrachial syndrome with cervical root compression C7. It contains the input and output kinesiology analysis, short- and long-term plan, records of the therapeutic units and description of each therapy. This case report was written on the basis of the practical experience in Nemocnice Na Bulovce in Prague, from 13th January to 7th February 2014. Title: The case study of the physiotherapy care of a patient with myotonic dystrhophy II. type Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is summarization of theoretical information about myotonic dystrophy of II. type, elaboration casuistry of physiotherapeutic patients with this diagnosis and assessment of effectiveness of applied physiotherapeutic procedures. Methods: This thesis is divided into two main parts. First part is dedicated to summarization of theoretical knowledge concerning anatomical, kinesiology, physiologic and pathophysiologic aspects of this diagnosis. Second part is practical. It is dedicated to casuistry elaboration of patient with myotonic dystrophy of II. type diagnosis. Initial examination, short - term and long-term assessment plan, plan of individual therapy sessions, final examination and assessment of the therapy effectiveness are included in this part as well. The practical part of this thesis was developed during practical internship at Nemocnice na Bulovce, starting 4 January and ending 29 January 2016. Results: The aims of this thesis were fulfilled. Patient has improved stabilization ability, and also stabilization while standing. Title: This case study of the physiotherapy care of a patient with multiple injuries of nerves in the shoulder and arm Objectives: The main objective of this paper is to summarize the theoretical knowledge about the peripheral nerve lesions in the shoulder and arm, and the development of the case studies of care for patients with this diagnosis. Methods: This work is divided into two main parts. The first part is devoted to a general summary of theoretical knowledge concerning anatomical, kinesiological, physiological and pathophysiological aspects of this disease and there are outlined some options for its examination and its treatment. In the second practical part is a detailed case report of physiotherapy care of patients with a given diagnosis. This section has been prepared on the basis of practice in the hospital Nemocnice Na Bulovce in the period from 19 January to 13 February 2015. There are a detailed input and output kinesiology analysis, itemized individual therapeutic units and drafted the effect of therapy. Results: The patient improved active movement of the shoulder joint in all directions increased the strength of the relevant muscles and especially improved coordination skills and volitional motor activity of his upper limb.
