Smoking prevalence among future paramedics

Petra Řeháková Supervisor: RNDr. Hana Klusoňová, Ph.D. Title of diploma thesis: Prevalence kuřáctví mezi budoucími zdravotníky The aim of this thesis was collect data of prevalence of smoking among future health professionals and compare them with results from GHPSS (Global Health Professions Student Survey) studies. This study took place in various countries and concerns of smoking among health professional students. The results show that it is necessary to improve the current state of tobacco policy in the Czech republic. There should be special anti-smoking programs across the whole school system and beside that there should be special care for health professional students. Health professional students should lead by examples.

Cleft Sentences in Norwegian and French

This thesis deals with cleft senteces in Norwegian and French. The analysis is carried out on Norwegian originals and their French translations. This makes it possible to study the cleft sentence in the same context. Cleft sentences in Norwegian were analysed from the functional sentence perspective, syntactic and morfological point of view. It means that I studied the contextual dependece or indepence of the sentence elements and their degree of communicative dynamism, syntactic function of the focused elements and which words represent the focused elements. The main aim of the thesis is to find out how cleft sentences are translated from Norwegian to French

Design of the constructed wetland Kozičín

Artificially created wetlands have great potential for sewage treatment. Their use is possible in areas where they still lack sewage or leads to poor wastewater handling various kinds.
Constructed wetlands for wastewater treatment can be an adequate alternative to conventional centralized systems. In accordance with the requirements of sustainable development in terms of decentralized solutions.
In a review of thesis provides an overview of legislation that relate to the design, permitting and implementation of wetlands. It introduces the principles of functioning, history and current state of the relevant issues. It analyzes the possible technical solutions.
In the practical part to a specific location, which is located in the cadastral Kozicin is applied proposal reed beds. The proposal was preceded by field research community and based on the specific conditions of the territory. They are determined volumes of waste water and the amount of expected pollutants whose elimination is to take place. Subsequently designed space for placement and basic parameters root filters together with other related objects so that the way of solving environmental depollution wastewater was indeed effective. The conclusion is made a summary of the various measures to be followed in order to achieve the desired results.

Demand for cinemas - what determines the consumer behaviour?

The main aim of this diploma thesis is to identify the determinants of behavior of demand for multiplexes in Prague. The main building material is the dataset of attendance and revenues evolution for individual movies distributed between years 2002 and 2011, always for the first four weeks from the premiere, provided by the Union of Film Distributors. The paper investigates consumer behavior on the movie market. The demand for movies is the dependent variable measured by the number of visitors in the corresponding weeks. The subject of analysis -- explanatory variable - is price, film rating (critics), genre, country of origin, character of time frame, frequency of screenings in a given week, format (2D/3D), length of movie, popularity of the actor/director, impact of movie series etc. The data are exposed to the regression according to which the significance of different variables is tested. The hypothesis about strong negative correlation of the price and quantity demanded is investigated based on the results, (Dewenter R., Westermann M., 2005) versus the hypothesis of weak sensitivity those two variables (Sangho Kim, 2009) against a more significant relationship of demand and other determinants. The influence of price on attendance has shown to be insignificant on the Prague movie market in the short term. A significant determinant impacting the attendance for a movie in the entire monitored period is the film rating, actor, length of movie, and number of screenings.

Art house cinemas in Brno

This Bachelor's Thesis describes the Art House Cinema situation in Brno, Czech Republic, especially in relation to the findings from the book Sure Seaters: The Emergence of Art House Cinema from Barbara Wilinski and analyses other related things that affect Art House Cinemas, such as the movie distribution network, film festivals, the emergence of art house cinema in the US and history if cinematography in the Czech Republic. There is only one art house cinema in Brno, the Art Cinema. It was founded in 1914 and its programme compared to other cinemas in Brno is very unconventional. Just like in the case of other art house cinemas its regular visitors are people who do not go to the cinema for pure entertainment but seek further values in cinema, like education. The average number of visitors in 2011 was comparable to other small cinemas in Brno. The cinema was digitalized towards the end of 2011 and this will allow the cinema to screen movies earlier after they are released to distribution. According to the director of Art Cinema, Mr. Daniel Zásměta, the cinema has a great potential to appeal to the younger population, mainly students, but has so far failed to reach them. The reason behand that might be in part due to its insufficient digital marketing and its weak social presence. The upcoming changes and the recent digitalization however have a chance to impove the situation and bring more visitor to the cinema, from all ranges of audiences.

Application of Arttherapy and Artphiletics in leisure time activities

The presented diploma thesis focuses on the definition of the terms of Art Therapy and Artphiletics. The history of these subjects describes the different approaches within these fields via several charts. The fundamental area of the thesis is the creativity and the process of creation, which are considered to be a concurrent realm of Art Therapy and Artphiletics. The thesis presents the primary reasons for the use of Art Therapy and Artphiletics in leisure time activities by specifying the positive effects of the creativity and the process of creation. The aim of the thesis is to map the importance of the process of creation, which is the "core" of Art Therapy and Artphiletics and due to it, draws the attention to the legitimacy of the use of these subjects within the realm of art-related leisure time activities.

The Line of Art Therapy and Art Philetics.

The bachelor thesis deals with comparison of two major methods which are concerned with the artistic expression ? art therapy and artphiletics. On one hand it deals with the theoretical definition of the two approaches, outlines their historical development. It also describes their characteristic features and processual models which are presented in visual diagrams. On the other hand it follows the specifics of these disciplines and attempts to distinguish them in light of their educational and therapeutic use. The study aims to propose a classification for delimitating of art therapy and artphiletics using the identical and the different areas of these disciplines.

Practical Application of Arttherapy and Artphiletics in Leasure Time Activities

The presented work is deals with usage of arttherapy and artphiletics in leisure time activities. The theoretical part include explanation of important term, comparation of aspects of arttherapy and artphiletics similarities differences and referef to the concretie possibilities of using arttherapy and artphiletics in leisure time education and also in other spheres. The practical part introduces to arttherapy and artphiletics where the kliens is child. It offeres also specific example, differens kinds of methodes and technic. Later this work showds direct work with children during ceramics leassons and concerned specifics of the direkt work. We can also find photo documentacion of children{\crq}s products (ceramical artefakts, drawings). Each products is analyzed throug ontogenetic psychology. Entirely this work is trying to prove and confirm possibility of using arttheterapy and artphiletics in laisure time activities. This work presented idea that thoughful and intentional practise of arttherapy and artphiletics in leisure time education. Is profitable for children, even for pedagogs of leisure time.

The Prognosis Of The Future Development Of The Labor Market And The Unemployment In The Czech Republic From The Demographical Aspect

The topic of my bachelors work is the prognosis of the demographical development of the population in the Czech Republic and its' future effect on employment, the labor market and the resulting economical impacts on the economy of the Czech Republic. A significant component will be the engagement of the migration of foreign inhabitants into the Czech Republic and related to this, the importance of programs for simpler adaptation of foreign human capital in our conditions. With regards to the expected aging of the population of the Czech Republic, the foreign work force will be incorporated as one of the factors influencing employment, the future of labor markets in the Czech Republic and the development of domestic product. I will include the views and economical studies of prominent economists in my work. In the conclusion I will concentrate on the complete summarization of my achieved results and their comparison to research and to data measured by the Czech Statistical Bureau.
