Order parameters of three-flavour chiral symmetry from ππ scattering

This thesis familiarizes the reader with the process behind the construction of ππ scattering amplitudes. Several representations and transformations nec- essary to pass from one to another are introduced. Then known solutions of Roy equations are employed to extract values of subthreshold parameters αππ and βππ from recent experimental data. As a second goal three-flavour chiral perturbation theory(χPT), which is a low energy effective field theory of quan- tum chromodynamics, is used to obtain theoretical predictions for αππ and βππ by applying a technique called resummed approach. A large statistical ensemble of predictions is numerically generated. Subsequently, Bayesian statistics is uti- lized to get more information about spontaneous symmetry breaking parameters X(3), Y (3), Z(3), which are related to the leading order low energy coupling constants of three-flavour χPT. These results are then compared to several other recent determinations. Significant shifts in probability distributions compared to Descotes-Genon et al. [2004] are observed. This bachelor thesis deals with the foundantion of the company BMW in Munich, the development of air, motorcycle and car engines, from their beginning to the present time. It also describes performance parameters and constructions of each type of the engine, crucial and most successful models and also a comparison with competing cars.

Productivity and its measuring aiming at individual size categories of companies.

The main aim of this thesis was to assess the relation between productivity and size of company in selected sector of national economy construction industry. The sub-objectives were determined as follows: to gather theoretical information on the topic, to analyse the productivity according to the individual size categories of companies in the selected sector, to assess the relation between the size of company and the productivity and to ascertain the level of productivity in the Czech Republic in comparison with the selected sector.

Electricity market and its regulation

The objective of the Bachelor Thesis is a survey of electricity market and its regulation in the Czech Republic. The fundamental principles of regulation of the electricity market are determined primarily by Act No. 458/2000 Coll., on the Conditions of Business and State Administration in the Energy Industries and Changes to Certain Laws (the Energy Act) as amended. The most significant purpose of the electricity market is price determination based on demand and supply. Also the Energy Regulatory Office contributes to competition within the energy market. The total consumer price consists of several partial amounts: commodity price, transportation price, distribution and contribution for renewable resources. Only the commodity price is not object of regulation. The Bachelor Thesis includes also comparison of two different methods of regulation of the distribution price ? revenue-cap and price-cap.
