Modernization of the HSFA solar instruments at the OndĹejov Observatory of the Astronomical institute of the Academy of sciences of the Czech republic
Klvaňa, Miroslav ; Bumba, Václav ; Halík, M. ; Ulrich, J. ; Chvojka, M.
The two horizontal solar telescopes with spectrographs HSFA at the OndĹejov observatory are modernized for exploitation of both their spectrographs as for the photographic observations, as well as for the registration of spectra with the CCD cameras or photomultipliers. The conception of the reconstruction, emphasizing the new possibilities of both instruments is discussed.
Solar activity impulses
Bumba, Václav ; Klvaňa, Miroslav ; Garcia, A.
We study the sums of sunspot areas separately for the norhtern and southern hemisphere for each day during the four low activity cycles. During certain time intervals, the solar activity is characterized by isolated, suddenly appearing increases, on one, or simultaneously on both hemispheres.
Solar activity as a consequence of the solar system origin
Čech, J. ; Kotrč, Pavel ; Křivský, L. ; Klimeš, J.
A similarity of the orbital periods of planets and those iccuring in the solar activity is discussed.
Methodology of the search of rapid changes of the H-alpha chromosphere brightness
Kupryakov, Yu. A. ; Kotrč, Pavel ; Havlíčková, E.
Methodology of searching fast changes in the chromosphere H-alpha brightness during solar flares is discussed.
Our world as an area of encounters and crossing
Rajchl, Jaroslav
Process of encounter and subsequent crossing leads to the formal similarity between both, the Mendelian law of meridity on the one side, and the Clifford algebra, on the other. Both representations contain a two-phase process analogical to the quantum theory paradigma and the relativistic cosmology one.
Large-scale dynamics on the Sun
Ambrož, Pavel
New results about the temporal evolution of the large-scale back-ground distribution of magnetic flux on the Sun are presented. Besides the generally accepted axially symmetrc differential rotation also the non-symmetric component o the horizontal transport velocity was found. The horizontl flow with highly organized structure of the flow pattern should be explained by Rossby waves and eddies, generatedin the whole spherical shell of the convection zone.
Are there CAII lines in the solar corona?
Kupryakov, Yu. A. ; Kotrč, Pavel
A birefrigent filter of Lyot's type was used for observation in CAII K line during the total eclipse in 1981. The detect line intensity level and its gradient are discussed.
