The influence of foot position on the size of the Q angle in patients with painful knee joint syndromes

Barbora Zimová Title: The influence of foot position on the size of the Q angle in patients with painful knee joint syndromes Objectives: This master thesis aims to assess the effect of the foot on the position of the knee joint, particularly whether the degree of flat-footedness affects the Q angle and whether an active foot correction can change this angle. Furthermore, this thesis aims to compare whether painful knee joint syndromes affect these parameters in any way. Methods: A group of 40 probands with a total average age of 27 years and a unilateral painful knee joint syndrome, at least 6 months apart from incidental injuries/surgeries, underwent a complex clinical examination with a focus on the researched aspects associated with knee joint problems. This was followed by the making of a plantogram - - an examination of the pressure distribution of the foot by a machine from the company Pedikom, taking a photograph to evaluate the Q angle and the orientation of the talus position, complementing the qualitative evaluation of the sole image. An active correction of the foot position was then performed along with a simple exercise to support the longitudinal arch of the foot by activating the myofascial chains associated with it. Contribution of the Czech UNESCO heritage to the tourism development

The final thesis deals with the association Czech UNESCO heritage and its importance for the tourism development. The aim of the thesis is to find out the contibution of the association to the tourism development at the UNESCO sites. This aim is reached by attendance comparision of each sites and mainly gaining opinions from association members - if they see a contribution in it. The initial part describes UNESCO organization itself, then information about Czech monuments inscribed in the UNESCO heritage list continues. The thesis contains detailed information about the association Czech UNESCO heritage and main theme - research among members and attendance comparision. The thesis confirmed hypothesis that the association is very contributive.

The casuistry of physiotherapeutic care for patients with the diagnosis of ankylosing spondylitis

The thesis is split into two parts - the general one and the special one. The general part focuses on the theory of the disease of ankylosing spondylitis and describes its placement in the field of rheumatology, its clinical image and diagnosis, which play an integral part in the treatment. Furthermore, it focuses on the complex treatment of this diagnosis, mainly on kinesitherapy. The general part is based on both Czech and foreign literature, which is listed in the chapter Reference List. The special part describes the casuistry of a patient with the diagnosis of ankylosing spondylitis. This part contains the patients entire case history and an entry kinesiology examination, upon which a short term and a long term physiotherapeutic plan is based. It then presents applied therapies and an evaluation of their effectiveness. I gathered the basis for this thesis during my internship in the Institute of rheumatology in Prague, which took place from the 4th until the 29th of January 2016.

Analysis of horse riding tourism and its infrastructure in the Central Bohemia region

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze equestrian trails of Central Bohemia Region with its whole infrastructure - from riding stables, where is possible to accommodate with the horse, over tethering sites, restaurants adapted to the stay with horses or other places to have a rest, up to direction signs and information boards. The thesis also contains theoretical information about the horse riding tourism like a form of a rural tourism. There are mentioned improvement proposals of equestrian trails and the the bachelor thesis should first of all help persons interested in the horse riding tourism in the Central Bohemia region.
