Telíšek, Antonín ; Jandová, Kristýna (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis is devoted to the determination of uncertainties in the measurement of parameters of photovoltaic panels produced by different manufacturing technologies. The production technologies of different types of photovoltaic panels, introduction to the issue of uncertainties and measurement of volt-ampere characteristics of photovoltaic panels are presented. This measurement by flash method will be realized on solar simulator Pasan Sun Sim 3c. From the measured characteristics the basic parameters of the PV cells and their uncertainties will be determined.
Software for modeling concentration profiles during the process of ion implantation and thermal diffusion
Nespěchal, Marek ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Chladil, Ladislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and development of the CPCalc application used for the visualization of concentration profiles during the process of thermal diffusion and ion implantation. The application was designed with regard to its planned use in the laboratory teaching of material-oriented subjects at the UETE. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes the technological process of semiconductor manufacturing and deals in detail with the technological processes for doping semiconductors – diffusion and ion implantation. The thesis presents the basic functioning and individual blocks of the CPCalc application, which is developed in the Python programming language in combination with the Tkinter library, a brief characterization of which is also included in this text.
Design of a photovoltaic power plant with battery storage for a family house in area Ústrašice
Wiesner, Lukáš ; Jandová, Kristýna (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
The master thesis covers the design of a photovoltaic solar power plant for a selected family house in Ústašice in Tábor’s region The theoretical part summarizes the photovoltaic phenomenon, production, and differences of various technologies of photovoltaic panels and different types of battery storages. The project also includes the legislative and subsidy conditions in the Czech Republic related to the PV topic. The practical part of the thesis starts with information about the layout of the family house with an analysis of household consumption data for the last five years. The analysis is followed by the selection of a suitable type of system for photovoltaic water heating. Using multi-criteria analysis, the most suitable solar controller and PV panels are then selected. The proposed system is updated with other necessary components. Finally, a simulation of the system is created in PV*SOL to determine the lighting conditions and to evaluate the economics side of the entire project.
Description and modification of a system producing electricity for domestic consumption
Bobek, Jan ; Křivík, Petr (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with the description of a system that is producing electricity for home consumption and also deals with implementation of a small raft, on which several wind turbines are installed. The system consists of three photovoltaic plants and batteries, that are charged from the wind turbines. The thesis also includes a price calculation and economic feasibility of the implemented system.
Design of a photovoltaic power plant on an industrial building to reduce energy consumption
Pospíšil, Filip ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Jandová, Kristýna (advisor)
The master thesis addressed the issue of reducing energy demand. The aim was to design a photovoltaic power plant for an industrial building, which will reduce this energy consumption. During the work, several simulations of different proposed photovoltaic systems were created and compared with each other, and the most suitable design was selected based on the input aspects. The theoretical background of the thesis has been used, which is described in the first two chapters. The thesis is supplemented by the calculation of the energy performance of the building, the project documentation of the chosen design and the analysis of the possibilities of how the surplus energy produced by the photovoltaic power plant can be utilised. Subsequently, an evaluation and conclusion are made.
Recycling of photovoltaic modules
Konrád, Jan ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Jandová, Kristýna (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the research of photovoltaic modules and their recycling. The different types of modules are discussed and classified according to their technologies. In the next section, recycling and its types are described. Recycling in the Czech Republic and Europe is described. The last part focuses on the results of the chemical recycling of the module.
Design of Perovskite Photovoltaic Solar Cells and Research of their Stability
Strachala, Dávid ; Šály,, Vladimír (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
The work in the first part describe the design of a perovskite photovoltaic cell with planar inverse structure using photovoltaically active material CH3NH3PbI3 and CH3NH3PbI3-xClx. The theoretical description of perovskite materials is supplemented by knowledge of degradation mechanisms reducing the resulting stability of samples and also presents a comprehensive overview of the technology development. The following text brings an innovative process for the perovskite photovoltaic cells production, which has enabled manufacturing of reproducible samples with parameters comparable to the foreign workplaces. The second part of the research analyzes the influence of the external environment to the samples and based on experimental outputs explains possible degradation mechanisms of perovskite material. At the final part of the dissertation thesis is presented and characterized unique structure of planar inversion perovskite cells with a material composition increasing the resistance against external humidity.
Development and Innovation of Manufacturing Processes for Thin-Film Solar Cell Functional Layers
Kadlec, Michal ; Vanýsek, Petr (referee) ; Tauš, Peter (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
The doctoral thesis deals with a group of thin-film photovoltaic cells based on pigment or perovskite absorption layers of light energy. The principal functionality of the cell is based on the capture of light by the pigment on a photosensitized semiconductor anode with subsequent regeneration of the pigment by the electrolyte. In our research we focused on the preparation and optimization of perovskite solar structures based on TiO2/CH3NH3PbI3. A total of six series of experimental solar cells with a perovskite structure were produced. The first two series were realized according to the chemical formula CH3NH3PbI3. In the other series, we applied the theory of added chlorine, resulting in the chemical formula CH3NH3PbI3Cl2. We defined the requirements for the creation of an active perovskite structure in the cell and determined its photovoltaic properties depending on the composition.
Shared energy economy
Hráček, Martin ; Maule, Petr (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis focuses on the use of a photovoltaic power plant in a block of flats, electric power distribution to individual consumers and the economic impact. The first part describes the basic principle of the photovoltaic power plant and a description of the individual parts used for the implementation. The second part is devoted to the operational legislation of the Czech Republic and the foreign operation examples. The third part already provides the specific implementation proposal example, the specific implementation budgets and the economic evaluation of the entire project.
Introduction of a method for measuring photovoltaic modules under NOCT conditions
Melichařík, Martin ; Křivík, Petr (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
This work focuses on the design of a method for testing photovoltaic panels under NOCT conditions, ie at the operating temperature of the photovoltaic cell, which has a major impact on its performance and other parameters. The method was tested and verified on a Pasan SunSim 3c solar simulator. An integral part of this work is also to determine the uncertainties of this measurement method.
