The diploma thesis focuses on problems related to the low turnover of stocks in IMI International, s.r.o. The thesis is divided into three parts – theoretical, analytical and design part. In the first part there is presented a basic theoretical knowledge of logistics for this work. The second part analyses the causes of high stock holdings in relation to low turnover. Based on the analyses there are finally proposed the solutions in order to reduce the value of held stocks by reducing the quantity which then leads to increased turnover.

Life and artwork of Jaromír Stretti-Zamponi (1882-1959) The bachelor's thesis deals with the life and artwork of Jaromír Stretti-Zamponi, a painter and a remarkable graphic artist of the first half of the 20th century who was born in a prominent Prague family that originally came to the Czech Lands from Italy. Athough as an artist he was self-taught, in his graphic works depicting views of Prague or Italian and Paris motifs, he achieved a very high artistic standard. He was a founding member of the Association of Czech Graphic Artists Hollar and a member of the Art Society Manes for a number of years. He is less noted as an expert advisor responsible for furnishing the Czernin Palace and the Prague Castle rooms he was in charge of from 1920s till 1940s. The aim of the thesis, apart from pointing out essential biographical milestones and sources of inspiration, is to cover his artwork in a broader context of the Czech modern graphic arts in the 20th century. V-belts Warehouse Logistics Optimization According to Sampling Frequency

The Bachelor thesis focuses on the area relating to warehouse of V-belts in the company RUBENA, a.s. The thesis consists of theoretical, analytical and proposal parts. The first part includes theoretical knowledge from logistics and its terms. In the second part there is analysis of the current state of the keeping V-belts warehouse in the company RUBENA, a.s. The output of thesis is the proposed solution how to efficiently sort out the V-belts warehouse so the most frequently delivered items are as close to the internal expedition point as possible which brings the benefit of time saving.
