Irradiation of the population from natural sources
UHLÍŘOVÁ, Daniela
Natural sources of radiation cause much higher exposure than artificial sources and can come in many forms. Natural sources of ionizing radiation are cosmic rays and natural radionuclides. Radon accounts for the largest percentage of the population's exposure. In the Czech Republic, radon occurs to a large extent, and because of this, we are among the countries with the largest volumetric activity of radon. The aim of the submitted bachelor's thesis was to find out and compare the awareness of the population in the area of natural sources of ionizing radiation in selected localities with high and low incidence of radon, namely Příbramsko and Mostecko. The theoretical part contains knowledge about radioactivity, biological effects of ionizing radiation, natural sources of ionizing radiation and quantities associated with ionizing radiation. A section is also devoted to the radon issue, health complications associated with radon and the radon program, which summarizes anti-radon measures. In the research part, the results of the questionnaire survey are summarized using graphs. These results are further processed using statistical methods, thanks to which both given hypotheses were confirmed. The first hypothesis examined whether the total awareness of the population would reach at least 70%, which was confirmed using a one-sample t-test. The second hypothesis related to the comparison of the knowledge of the population in the area of natural sources of ionizing radiation in people living in a locality with a higher incidence of radon and in people living in a locality with a lower incidence of radon, where the awareness of people in localities with a higher incidence of radon should be considerably higher. The hypothesis was confirmed using a two-sample t-test.
Consequences of a breach of duties by participants in highway traffic
Uhlířová, Daniela ; Prášková, Helena (advisor) ; Vopálka, Vladimír (referee)
Resumé This thesis deals with legal consequence of road users who violate their duties in road traffic. Intensity of road traffic permanently increases. Almost everyone participates in the road traffic day by day. Among the participants occur many dangerous and egoistic individuals, who do not observe the road traffic regulations. Theirs irresponsible behaviour often results in car accidents and damage to person and property. One of means to improvement of the road safety is efficient punishment of driving offences. I have divided my thesis into introduction, five chapters and conclusion. The introduction briefly introduces the problematic. In the second chapter I have paid attention to definition of terms "road user", "duties of road users in traffic" and "legal consequence of violation the duty". In the third chapter I have dealed with driving offences. Offence is one of the administrative torts, which is defined by Offence Act no. 200/1990 Coll. It is unlawful action which violates or endangers protected interests of society. Driving offences violate or endanger safety and fluency of the road traffic. Merits of the driving offences are defined not only by Road Safety Act no. 361/2000 Coll, but also by Act no. 13/1997 Coll. and Act no.56/2001 Coll. Second chapter consist of four part. In firts part I have...

Creation and check tutorial programme for undergraduates of program Health Education: Possibilities usage of alternative methods within regeneration methods (lava stones)
UHLÍŘOVÁ, Daniela
The thesis deals with the creation and check of the tutorial programme for undergraduates of program Helth Education aimed to massages with lava stones considered like an alternative methods within regeneration methods. I analyse professional terms like health, regeneration and massage in the beginning of the theoretic part. Main topic is massage done with lava stones. This topic treates the origin of lava stones, affects and contraindications of massage with lava stones, means for this massage, affecting of the massage with lava stones according to the theory of oriental medicine and technique of massage with lava stones. I verify the educational program by the comparation incoming and outgoing tests declaring the level of knowledge of accidentally chosen student of the branch Helth Education in the practical part. Afterwards I investigate with the students´ opinion of educational program and integration the education of lava stones massage to the subject Regeneration III. The results of practical research confirm feasibility of the program in practice, important influence of the program to the increasing of students´ knowledges in this topic and the positive reaction of students to the core of educational program even to the to possibility of its integration to the subject Regeneration III.
