The role of social worker in hospital

(in English): The work deals with issue of social worker's role in hospital from point of view of medical social workers working with senior citizens. In theoretical part is presented profession of medical social worker and its specifics in Czech Republic: history, legislation, education, competences and a role of medical social worker in multidisciplinary team. It is focused also on health care and social services provided to the target group of senior citizens in our country. Practical part is focused on presentation and interpretation of data gained from qualitative research which was realized by semi-structural interviews with medical social workers in chosen faculty hospitals in Prague. Altruism and solidarity in Christianity as an impetus of social work

charitable projects were born in church environment and church members were among the first social workers ever. Do Christian churches have such a remarkable influence on social work evolution? Is Christian altruism, help without the expectation of subsequent satisfaction, involved in social services development? Is the social mission of humanity truly part of the accents of church doctrine? This paper tried to evaluate whether the church highlights, supports and develops social and charitable pursuit, if it invites its members to gratuitous support for other members of the community and if it was at the eve of social activities in contemporary society.
Analysis of Practical Implications of Changes in Family Law Introduced by §655 - §975 of the Civil Code.

(in English) This bachelor thesis deals with new legal regulations of Family Law listed in new Civil Code Act No. 89/2012Coll.in force from 1. 1. 2014 with it simplifications for the practice of Social and Legal Protection of Children departments. According to this new act the preceding Act No. 94/1963 Coll. concerning the Family, which has regulated Family Law, and Act No. 40/1964 Coll. on the Civil Code, are abolished. Hypothesis: This breakthrough change in our legislation influences Fundamentals of Family Law and current administrative a juridical practice. Aim: analyse new Family Law regulated by articles nos.655 to 975of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., compare the legislations with Act No. 94/1963 Coll., evaluate the expected impact on people concerned, as indicated by the abolishment of Act No. 94/1963 Coll., and identify the impact on proceeding and practice in departments of Social and Legal Protection of Children. Social housing policy towards families with difficult access to housing market

This thesis is focused on social housing for families as a specific housing policy instrument for securing housing of families with children who are for various reasons disadvantaged on the free housing market. In the thesis social housing is understood as a way towards fulfilment of the right to adequate housing and at the same time as an instrument for supporting families in their function of securing healthy development of their children in a safe environment. The aim of the thesis is to contribute to the actual debate on the creation of the state policy of social housing. It is done mainly by the mapping of housing and social policy on the state and local level. Local policy of social housing is explored particularly in five city districts of the capital city of Prague. The research draws data from documents of the city districts and interviews with the officials from property departments and social departments, in particular with the heads of child welfare sections. The research shows that the access of families with children to the instruments of local housing policy is always in some way limited. The city districts vary in the level of these limits. Available and planned housing services for autistic adults in the Czech Republic

OVERVIEW This thesis deals with the question of availability of the social service of sheltered housing for adults with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in the individual regions of the Czech Republic. The outcome is a description of the available and planned services in the form of sheltered housing for persons with ASD. Over the last twenty years in the Czech Republic, people have been better informed, and at the same time, the diagnosing of this disorder has become more exact. That has logically influenced the significant growth of this specific target group. One goal of the thesis is to determine the number of persons with ASD in the age group of adolescents and young adults. Thereafter, the goal is to reflect on the state's preparedness in the area of fulfilling the rights of persons with autism spectrum disorder to available, appropriate housing.

The object of the thesis - The influence of employment policy measures on employing persons with disabilites - is set of employment policy measures applying to emplyoing persons with disabilites in the Czech Republic, and the influence of the measures on employing such persons from 1997 through 2007. The thesis describes development of the measures, analyses the measures costs, and considers the measures influence on the progress of the unemployment rate among persons with disabilites.

The bachelor paper "Social analysis of the indebted citizens in Prague 3" focuses on the issues of indebtedness, respectively overindebtedness, it's causes and consequences for single person, or the whole population. The essay tries to answer the question about the origin of overindebtedness, options of it's solution and prevention. The theoretical part deals with the issues by historical aspect and the law aspect too, mainly is focused to the execution of the decision carried out by sale of movable things, and advise for individuals. The research part works with the question, which segments of population the indebtedness concerns at most, by the aspect of gender, age, employment, nationality and education, focused for Prague 3.
Socio-political analysis of the causes of indebtedness of citizens

The thesis "Analysis of the Causes of Over-Indebtedness" consists of a detailed analysis of issues leading up to over-indebtedness. It also aims to point out the most serious consequences of over-indebtedness. The thesis brings attention to the relation between causes and effects which, in many cases, take the form of the opposite and vice versa. The boundary between cause and effect can often be indistinct, and it is essential to distinguish between the two in order to find a solution for an over-indebted client. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the issue of a loss of income which may lead to over-indebtedness, draws attention to the important role of education in the area of financial literacy, and notes on the most serious consequences of over-indebtedness, which it sees in the loss of housing, homelessness, and other negative effects. The research part concentrates on a social group which belongs to one of the most threatened with social exclusion, welfare applicants. The research attempts to analyse their debt situation in relation to their age, education, housing, unemployment period, willingness to change their situation, and willingness to repay their debt.
